Wow, Reelin In The Years sounded killer! Was that boosted or just the amp gain?

I dont know why but when i took my pt15 to the jam studio, going direct to the pa sounded mushy.. almost like no cab was connected, but definitely had the stock cab irs running. Edit: maybe i a physical cab would sound better?

It's the stock pickup that comes in the Xotic XSC-2, the Raw Vintage RV-PAF Humbucker if I remember correctly.
