This video is a response video from a comment left yesterday, on a video. A comment was left on this video: • Self Harm and Suicide ...
I needed to make a response to that comment, that was just more than a few sentences.
The mental health aspects after a stroke are absolutely huge, but drastically over looked. If you find yourself in need to help, please immediately go and get that help.
This video may be triggering, and you may need to reach out for help. Please if you find yourself in need of assistance, go and get it.
If you notice the signs and symptoms of a stroke in your or someone around you
Balance / Co-ordination / Confusion
Eye and Vision Problems
Facial Droop
Slurred Speech
Stuttering
Inappropriate Word Usage for situation or context
Inability to stand
General Weakness or Weakness to one Body Side
Inability to properly and evenly Smile
Please Immediately place that person in a position of comfort and Dial 911

Wow that was amazing! You really are an inspiration. I would suggest this to anyone having problems. It’s just straight forward gritty truth on a topic most people prefer to avoid. I know your approach is post stroke but this applies to anyone going to a dark place.

I'm still too shell shocked to ask for help most of the time. no one to talk too, plus its exhausting to talk and too expensive for phone.

@@jgd777 I don't know the circumstances of your stroke but it takes a lot longer to get your bearings again. I wish you all the best wishes that I can muster and I hope you find your way through and end up in a positive place in God bless

Had there been some kind of weapon with me after the first month of stroke I would have shoot myself. Such was my distressing condition. But now I am content inn my discontent.
