Let me say I don't care for deathcore but i always give it a fair chance. Suicide silence has never been my cup of tea, I think of them as a one hit wonder band with that You only live once song. Honestly if Suicide Silence were just like, "Yes, we acknowledge that we are going a new direction with our music and trying something completely different. We apologize to those fans of ours who do not agree with our decision to do so, but this is what we feel we need to do creatively at this time. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you keep an open mind", then I would totally respect them for it and have no problem with any of this. However, it looks like it took me two minutes of consideration to think of a better response than five guys put together were able to the entire time they were writing a whole album. Instead they're wasting their time making disparaging remarks to their hurt and upset fans. Fuck these guys and their sophomoric attitudes, I have zero respect for them and I'm certain that the future commercial failure of this project will speak for itself. Every band has a weird album that never should have happened. Unfortunately SS are really digging their own grave with this one, and it seems all too clear that their epitaph already reads "DIED NOVEMBER 1st 2012".

When a band starts bashing on their own fans just because the fans don't like their new music direction, It's a very large sign of un-professionalism. If you gain coverage and a large amount of fans for a specific type of music that you are making, you can't just start bashing your fans over the internet (Alex Lopez) for them not liking you new sound. (I mean you can but its just being an amateur, especially talking about a band of the size of Suicide Silence.) I really don't have a problem with the new sound of SS (Al tho it's not new...see Korn), but I just can't agree with this but-hurt approach they are taking against their own fans...Which they are the main reason you get to make music and express yourself as artists while making a living out of it. But you know what? Yea, sure, just bash on them, call them out...

Its not that people are hating on this because of the two notes. The songs they have released are just not good. Fans had a certain of what they were going to hear and they didn't get that at all. The new direction wouldn't have bothered fans if the songs were just good. Lots of bands take on new genres and if they do it well then they get a lot of praise. Deftones are perfect example. So if they are reading this, it has nothing to do with the singing or the two notes that everyone is bitching about. Its that the songs lack any creativity in the riffs and they are really boring. The riffs are just not good at all. Deathhore is pretty 1 dimensional. But if you're going to jump into a new genre, make sure you know you don't play it like a shitty deathhore riff at least.

it's bad to hardcore fans of their music, to just drastically change your sound like that is going to piss a lot of people off. I'm not even a hardcore fan of Sucide Silence and mostly listen to Metalcore stuff like killswitch engage, Polaris, and even then I really disliked their songs Doris and Silence, because I used to know that when I was going to put a track of suicide silence on, i'd be hearing those screeching highs, demonic lows. nasty sounding guitars., and that's why I enjoyed listening to it every now and then depending on my mood... these two songs... in my opinion. just sound horrible not just because of the drastic change of sound... but... i mean... because it genuinely suck...

Actually All Shall perish is entirely made out of its founding members again now as well as Eddie in addition and without Mike Tiner sadly. But considering he is just the bass player and the guitars were what mattered the most, thats not much of a problem. ASP is now more itself than it has ever been since Awaken the Dreamers.

Yea its founding members who either got kicked out or left the band. Matt got kicked out for not wanting to tour then years later sued mike who was the only founding member remaining for rights to the name all shall perish and stupidly won. Maybe he came up with the name but essentially left when he didn't want to tour, forced the band to kick him out like when eddie joined ss, eddie made them kick him out because he put asp on halt. Tiner, pierce and artuso were all shall perish and now none of them are even in it. Ben orum is the man and was there for every album and left on good terms, deserves to be there for sure. Fuck eddie he fucked the band and left like a bitch then fucked ss, matt got the boot then sued like a bitch fuck him, adam Pierce fucking sick and got screwed over, same with artuso. Storey is good and didnt leave on bad terms its cool he is back, but betit and russo havent been in the band since hmr in 2003 so who knows how that is going to go. Just the bass player? Guitars what matters most? He is a fucking sick bass player and yea bass matters just as much, we will see how they sound without him. They are my favorite band next to bdm, im pissed about the whole situation,

Whoever said "deathcore is shit because it's not real death metal," needs to lighten up. That's why it's called deathCORE!!! Mix of death metal with hardcore/metalcore. Y'all should take these comments into constructive criticism. Honestly, the song isn't completely terrible, but it still is and it has the same talent level as a beginner metal band. As a musician myself, I always listen to what others have to say about my work to improve it. Y'all should do the same and instead of bashing on the grammar of these comments, use your context clues to understand what exactly the fan means by their perspective. Rock on, guys and if you're going to explore and follow trends of new age metal, do so with your creative minds. Put more thought into your songs. This one, honestly, needs to be cleaned up.
