There is a batman statue along with statues of the rest of the league. Meaning that the arkham batman has been a member of the JL at some point in time.

So during the scene of Wonder Woman vs Super Man maybe this shows how the justice league all got mind controlled or the suicide squad don’t kill the justice league (or at least Wonder Woman) but get them out of the mind control and they fight Super Man eventually they lose and the squad have to step in and stop him.

Also, I do think that Waller is more than willing to take the change. (Even if they can't bring them back, it would be fine for her, but I do think they might want to make an actual Justice League game and this could be the first step, who knows... I'm just considering their options)
