I still not understand how the bomb is a menace for Clayface, I mean bro is made out of mud, should't he just explode and then reform himself and be fine? I think he has been blowed up in the past several time between comics and games, and no MIchael 7:53 not new power Clayface has always been able to turn himself into different shapes including animals and such, you know when he uses the new powers when he shines orange

Thanks for letting me know I've only seen Clayface mostly in the OG JL animated cartoon and also Young Justice but I don't recall him being able to shapeshift into animal like creatures like Beastboy...also good point regarding the bomb it makes no sense giving that he is made of Clay if it blows he should me fine😂😂 unless Waller maybe added something in the bomb to nullify his Metahuman powers upon explosion

The one thing that could explain this away is the bomb being attached to the top of the spinal cord where the brain is. Regardless of if he's mud, his brain would theoretically remain intact in order to allow for his mud form to be sentient. So while not explained in the series, scientifically speaking it makes sense that his bomb would be attached closer to his brain than the other members of the squad... Then again this is fiction, I don't think we should be thinking about it too much. But in truth, its not that impossible/illogical considering a brain and upper spinal cord would be needed to allow for sentient mud to even be possible 👍

Clayface's bomb: 1. Amanda Waller is the type of person to have the resource to put a bomb that would kill Clayface. 2. Clayface is criminally insane just like Harley and the rest of Batman's villains. You can see that he enjoys the situation and wants to be the protagonist of the Isekai plot. So even if the bomb did nothing to him. He wants to be there.
