For more context, the "global 3rd rank" thing was a inside joke on stream and not actual rankings. She started off the stream dominating all her opponents, and she declared herself "No. 1 Worldwide" in the game. This clip was taken after she had already lost to 2 players, which made her "3rd Worldwide" at that moment. After she got beaten by this player she became "4th Worldwide".

That's ... not actually world's 3rd rank player but rather an inside joke made by Sui-chan. He still is a very good player, regardless. About the inside joke part: whenever Sui-chan start streaming 6-Ball Puzzle, she will always start at "1st rank world-wide" and battle random people via online matching. (Eventhough she just ended up playing with viewers at least half of the time, based on her opponent's name) Every time she lost, she will get demoted one rank if she can't win a rematch in a best of 3 or best of 5 or something, depending on how long her opponent willing to accept her rematch. From this stream, Sui-chan ended her stream at the 4th rank world-wide. Meaning that she only lost to 3 players in a best of 3 / best of 5. The guy in the video is one of the three players that managed to won against Sui-chan from her multiple rematch attempts.

At 2:59 she said something about don't want 3rd place in the world, not specifying 'not want to fight' or 'not want to be', and at the start of the vedio she clearly knows that 6th ball tournament doesn't exist, so there can't really be 1st 2nd or 3rd rank world wide.

It is indeed. Just from my amateur experience some things are similar to tetris but of course you gotta think of several new things such as: - the balls' physics so they'll fall the way you want; I've no idea how they can get the balls to fall flat like that, maybe they roll it to the side as it falls? - watch for shapes you can form to send garbage - whether the balls will even form, as in it shouldn't have any same-colored balls around it to make sure it won't complete as a regular 6 balls clear before you can make the form. Though at least you did clear a chain. - make sure you aren't clearing the balls below if you wanna shape something above it, cuz the balls will slide down & break formation. In summary, shapes, colors, ball count and physics are what I think of when it comes to this game
