Is this... the very first ever YWA video? An oldie but a goodie!! I was 10 years old when this was uploaded, a mere child and this was well before I started my daily yoga. Now at 21 (22 in less than 3 months), I have grown into a wise (so I like to think) young woman who plans to do yoga for the rest of my life!

I've been doing Yoga with Adriene since the Jan 1, 2020. I've missed some days, left life get in the way, was sick, etc. Now we are in the coronavirus world. And I'm truly committing to a daily yoga practice. I'm still a beginner for sure! I did a 20 min flow yoga, to the best of my ability today and I did this one! I'm going to go through the entire "Foundations of Yoga" playlist. I plan to do a 'regular' video each day then follow it up with a foundation video! Thanks sweetie pie for such fantastic videos and for being such a fantastic teacher! You change lives punkin!

So, I have the great luck to be able to take yoga from Adriene on a weekly basis, and she always seems to remedy what ails me. About a month ago, I was having terrible neck problems with my neck popping out of place and such (I know, it sounds painful), I started just spending about two or three minutes a day doing those simple neck rolls she demonstrated, and within a couple of weeks the problems went away, and have stayed away! Yoga With Adriene really works!!

I am starting with the basics of yoga to transition back to the awareness of my body, mind, and heart. I have been going through a rollercoaster of personal challenges, feeding on the negativity, and feeling useless. I know we go through seasons of uncertainty, fear, and quitting. But as much as I feel like giving up, I have the still voice inside telling me not to give up, instead get back up and try again. Falling hurts, but staying down feels even worst. I'm coming back to the beginning. Where I can find a rhythm to be still, reconnect to my center, and focus on the moment. Filter out the negativity to make room for positivity. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Adriene!

Thank you for being so authentic and generous with your both your knowledge spirit Adrienne! Your teaching doesn't feel rushed and neatly packaged yet there is integrity and the expertise that you want to get from a class. Love that you continually make corrections in your 30 day course so despite the virtual wall, i don't feel at risk of injury or disconnected from the practice. I have been looking for a teacher I can connect with for nearly 10 years and always felt socially anxious, intimidated by either the teacher or the rest of the class. Your classes are really helping in the process of reconnecting with my body, my physical and spiritual strength in a way I havent committed to before. Eternally grateful. Namaste

My yoga journey: After years of running (because that’s what we do) I started doing hot yoga twice a week in 2010 after a step class injury to my knee. Profound relaxation/mind body connections change my direction forever. Found Adrien four years later💕 continued hot yoga ten years, with Adrien on the week end & when I didn’t get up at 5:30😩The instructor moved away from our gym recently. Thanks for dedicating this space to what feels good. I’ve done many of the 30 day challenges over the years. At the moment I’m going to start at the beginning with AM & PM visits to your wonderful channel to create a “year of finding what feels good” for myself care. At 67.75 every day matters. My daughter asked me, "Mom, do you want to do yoga together in the mornings?". I was a little unsure because I had gone to a yoga class studio the prior year, and did not enjoy it at all. I am a beginner and 69 years old (I know you are never too old to start, but it can be intimidating). I am really enjoying your series, and not finding it too much for me. You do such a great job of explaining how to do the poses, and how to modify if needed. I also love the philosophy behind it and the mindset that you teach. You asked for feedback, this is mine. Complete beginner here! You were recommended by my mom group, and I pretty much immediately feel in love with the practice and your teaching style. I'm encouraged that the back pain I feel while doing this pose is a normal muscular response and that it will improve. Been doing at least 1 video a day for 2 weeks now and noticed my back wasn't hurting immediately the other night. Thank you SO much! I don't want to jump the gun and make any life judgments just yet, but this has improved my life the last 2 weeks. Hey! That's awesome to hear yoga was showing so much positive change for you in the last 2 weeks! I was wondering how you're doing now if you kept up with it by chance? I ask because I also experience back pain doing just this pose, so I was hoping you could offer some advice. My back pain I'm also feeling will improve as I do this more. This is maybe my 2nd day doing the pose now, and I'm planning on tomorrow being the third. While I have scoliosis, I want to see if I can maybe heal myself through yoga and meditation and things like that. I'm not sure if I should just do this one video for a couple weeks, or if I should add a video each day, each week, etc. Not 100% sure my approach but I'll figure it out as I go. If you see this, any advice I'd greatly appreciate

I started with a recent video and I am very impressed at how better of a yogi master you've become. I am saying that with no experience in yoga, just as a student. These videos are GOLD and extremely valuable. I also thought they were harder to find than your other playlists/videos. I think this stuff is so good that it would warrant a revisit. Although people might not come to your channel for the foundations of yoga, I think a lot of people will want to learn the foundations of yoga from you once they have participated in a few of your videos. That's what I did. I would bet good money that "Foundations of Yoga with Adriene V2" would bring in a massive amount of views for you over time, considering these ones don't seem to do as well as your recent videos.

While I have done yoga in the past, I have never actually spent time learning pose names and the reasonings or benefits for each pose. I have just completed this video and it was very relaxing! Also neat to learn that yogis use this pose to tune into themselves in order to meditate for long periods of time. Knowing that this video was made 8 years ago, I am excited to travel forward in time with you as I progress my yogic learning while simultaneously watching you grow as a teacher. I have joined a guided meditation class at my local YMCA and also have been experimenting with Yoga on your channel. I am realizing that these two experiences can be tied together. By practicing this pose I can now sit in this position and meditate. Thank you for teaching me this pose. I find being grounded while I meditate has helped by mental health tremendously :)

Hello Adrine. I have to say, I enjoy your videos! I am a caregiver. I do lots of walking and lifting during the week. I have started doing your routines every night. They have improved my stress level. I have also had less fatigue in my back. You practices are so fun to follow. I was taught to always fill my cup, before I give. Yoga is such a wonderful me time exercise! I would love to see a new bedtime routine. Stephanie

I like your yoga classes Adriene, I tried other tutorials but you are one of my favorites because you put heart into the sessions and that helps me clear the burdens of my daily life. Thank you!

I'm new but I'm hooked... As someone who had back surgery and struggles to find nice ways to exercise, this is amazing, all while helping my with my spirituality and anxiety issues. You're an amazing instructor and I'm so excited to start practicing with you!
