If it were, then there would be no reason for Yuji to fight Mahito in shibuya, or even to keep Mahito around at all. I wouldn’t say zetsu but orochimaru. Orochimaru swapped bodies, stole techniques, and was a mad scientist like Kenjaku. The only difference is that Kenjaku has a goal that makes sense, while orochimaru literally has no goal beyond extending his own lifespan. Kenjaku has a goal and orochimaru doesn’t and that makes him more compelling as a villain.

Question, and I want you to seriously ask yourself this: Why does Kenjaku need Sukuna? Seriously. We all know that, while Sukuna is certainly strong, he's not a yes man. He's only working with Kenjaku because their objectives are aligned at this moment. We also know that, if Sukuna is ever free, he's changing the script so that he's back on top. Why did Kenjaku teach Sukuna how to seal himself into his fingers? Why did Gojo just _happen_ to appear at the same time Sukuna possessed Yuji? Why isn't Kenjaku seemingly at all worried that Sukuna may die now? Why does Sukuna _assume_ Gojo has the remaining finger despite Gojo never saying or insinuating he does? A lot of questions, I know, but I think you're starting to get where I'm going (maybe). If Kenjaku lied and manipulated the Disaster Curses, why do we assume he's not manipulating Sukuna? The reality is that Sukuna is as much a problem for Kenjaku as he is a solution. My theory is this is all Kenjaku's plan. Sukuna was told a portion of the plan but only enough to agree to the binding vow. Once those conditions are met, Sukuna has no use for Kenjaku and would likely kill him to assert true dominance over the world, something wholly opposite to Kenjaku's goal. You also mention how Kenjaku kept having to kill 6E users until he got the idea to just seal Gojo. Doesn't that mean he'd actually _want_ Gojo to live...albeit in a condition he can't disrupt his plans? Say... with permanent brain damage and an inability to use Curse Technique? That doesn't sound that different from being sealed if you ask me. Crackpot Theory that no one should take seriously AT ALL: What if Kenjaku has the missing finger and plans to do with it what he did with Mahito? What if Kenjaku, who knows how powerful Sukuna is, knows that he's not quite enough to kill Gojo but certainly strong enough to irreparably damage him? What if Yuji being able to contain Sukuna was actually a test run to being able to house the amalgam Curse Spirit Kenjaku plans to create? Again, a lot of "what ifs" and theories. I'll just end by saying I suspect Kenjaku already knows the results of this fight and that's why he is letting the two meatheads give themselves concussions while he keeps tinkering in the back.

Yuji being a Death Painting that wasnt aborted I think plays a big role into him being a wild card, even Kenjaku thinks low of him and expected him to be only as useful as a vessel, meaning he doesn't see potential for the different combination in which Yuji was created, this could have been an oversight but somehow I don't think someone like Kenjaku would underestimate his own creation especially if its still alive without being Sukuna's host. I do wonder if Yuji eating the other death paintings will give him a cursed technique similar to Sukuna's Consumption, could Yuji end up devouring Sukuna's soul and thus be a threat to Kenajaku? Or would be just be really good at cursed energy manipulation being a human born son of Kenjaku's Cursed energy and his lineage of curse users. Until we know what Yuji can do/develop into. I don't think its safe to say Gojo will be Sukuna's last fight, out of Megumi's Body sure, but what if he took over Gojo? He has shown to take advantage of those at their lowest points. Its possible the gang gets back together (Nobara return?) and they all take out the big bads. Slight edit, Choso being enraged and calling him Noritoshi Kamo could signify the era he came into existence. The death paintings seem to get stronger as time went on. Seems like Kechizu and the other dead ones were different varities of power, this adds to my points that if Choso is the "Eldest" of the brothers but the "Second Youngest" in terms of when he was created in the timeline, this could mean Yuji is stronger than Choso once he learns how to use cursed energy.

Well not really, he only had 2 chances. Since Tengen merges with a star plasma vessel every 500 years, and the failure of this merger is needed so that Tengen can become more cursed spirit than human, to be able to be absorbed by Kenjaku. Kenjaku also needs to be Able to awaken all the culling game players and needs cursed spirit manipulation. He also needs to seal the user of the six eyes, which requires the prison realm.

I have a slightly different theory. I think sukuna was never part of the plan. Obviously bringing him back, and finding favor in him was part of kenjaku’s plan, but I think sukuna wasn’t exactly a willing part of it outside of splitting himself into the fingers. His interest in megumi was because he saw what gojo could do, and what maharaga could do, so putting the pieces together. He just wanted to have fun and get stronger. I have a feeling that even if gojo stayed sealed, sukuna would force kenjaku to unseal him just so they could fight, because that makes sense to me as sukuna’s character. Whether kenjaku planned on gojo being released or not isn’t particularly relevant to me, but sukuna almost definitely wanted a full strength fight with gojo.

This kinda dismantled a pretty big argument in the community. If kenjaku planned on using Sukuna to defeat the six eyes user while inside of Yuji's body, because no one knew megumi even existed yet. That would mean from a logical standpoint even if it was harder, Sukuna would've had to already have a way to beat that person. Kenjaku knew about Gojo before Sukuna ever had a body at all in this era. He wanted Sukuna to "deal with Gojo". Megumi wasn't part of his plan. So, how was Sukuna going to do it? 😑 They need to hurry up and reveal this guys other options. Knowing that this dude can do more but isn't at this point is kinda frustrating. MANGA SPOILERS: well Sukuna only lost to Gojo (without Mahoraga) by 0.01 seconds, Gojo was on his last Domain and Sukuna had 3 more, so if Sukuna was just 0.01 seconds faster in activating his last Domain he would have won the fight without Megumi, Sukuna wasn't fast enough to beat Gojo because he had to heal his body before opening the Domain, causing him to lose (without Mahoraga). But if he had his last finger he would be around 5% stronger. And that would make up for the 0.01 seconds as he would get damaged just a little bit less with that power increase and would have to heal a little bit less. So if Sukuna had 20 fingers he would have actually won the fight.

i feel like people are giving kenjaku too much credit. from the outside he seems like a mastermind that planned everything, but if you take a deep look... he just got lucky. kenjaku tried fighting the six eyes and lost, even killing the six eyes as a baby and that failed. now, from my understanding, the whole point of kenjaku having to defeat the six eyes is to get to tengen ( since theyre connected by fate) BUT, even if he had defeated the six eyes in the past... what would be the point? he didnt have geto's curse manipulation, so what was he gonna do? just kill tengen? next point toji, if it wasnt for toji interfering, gojo would of delivered the plasma vessel and the cycle would of repeated. it is stated the toji scaped the fate of curse energy, meaning that this wasnt part of kejakus plan. next point is geto's body, that also seems like a necessity for kenjakus plan, even mahitos curse technique seems like it was needed to start the culling games... i dont see how kenjaku could have planned any of this. instead of a mastermind, i see him more of an opportunist, that just so happened to strike when luck literally handed him everything.

@@pickle5337 how can you say it was gonna hapen eventually?? just 1 example out of many, getos body. he NEEDED body with the curse manipulation technique... theres no way kenjaku knew that there would be someone with that technique some day. even if he did know, he wouldnt just have to take he's body, the curse manipulation technique user would HAVE to be the six eyes friend! if geto wasnt gojos friend, gojo wouldnt have even flinched at seeing getos body and wouldnt have remembered all the memories with him, thus the prison realm not working on gojo. ( since a whole minute has to pass in the targers mind) thats just 1 example. i wont even get into toji killing the star plasma vessel

Because noone can beat kenjaku besides gojo and sukuna.. if gojo does lose and dies against sukuna this would 100% promt a kenjaku to defeat weakened sukuna. But the question is who else can stop kenjaku then? Yuji soul swapping back with sukuna? Prob not
