Sultan Salahuddin Abd Aziz Shah Mosque |2nd largest mosque in Southeast Asia| Largest religious dome

Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque was opened on 11 March 1988 is the state mosque for Selangor, Malaysia.
This mosque is the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia after the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta , Indonesia . It is also known as the Blue Mosque.
The mosque is built to accommodate approximately 24,000 worshipers. It has the largest dome in the world. Four tall towers are built around the dome.
The outer dome stands 300 feet above ground level and is 170 feet in diameter making it the largest religious dome ever built.
