Does This Look Infected is my favorite sum 41 album too so i'm very hyped about this album. I really enjoyed this video. I have heard many story about who No Brains was written about but i think the song was written about Greig Nori :p Anyway thank you very much for the video, these sum 41 videos of yours are some really pleasent surprises :3

3:20 I agree with Deryck. This is my main problem with the Album. I really really like this Album, but it just doesnt sound as good as it could be. When you hear Chuck after DTLI you can hear the difference in Sound Quality. I personally like Hyper Insomnia bla bla bla....(God i hate this Title 😂). It helped me to get through a really hard Time in my Life, With Depression, Anxiety Disorders. Balance Disorders. I couldnt go Outside without having weird Panic Attacks.... I just felt helpless cause no Doctor believed me... There were Days where i thought i will Die. This Song and the Lyrics spoke to me so much, and they helped me to get through this Horrible Time.

Hyper insomnia para condroid is one of my favorites off of DTLI. I think wether a song is "good" or not is completely subjective. Sometimes what hits with one person is annoying to another.

I love this album. It's my favorite by sum 41 (who are my 3rd favorite band), and I'd say it's about my 4th or 5th favorite album of all time. Every song smacks so hard, even some of the lesser known deep cuts.

How do you like the new Acoustic version of The Hell Song? I think its Amazing. I probably like it even more than the Original Version 😅

I think it's pretty good. Totally a step up from than their old acoustic version. This one's got more of it's own identity, rather than being a straight translation of the original. But I still prefer the original though. It is my favourite Sum 41 after all.

You mentioned how this album is sort of a "best of both worlds" scenario when describing it's mix of metal and pop punk. And while i do agree to an extent they did do a really good job mixing the 2 genres i also must admit that this album is sandwiched between what i think are their 2 best albums And i do think part what makes them so great is their distinctive feel and style of music, don't get me wrong i think this record is great, but in trying to mix these 2 genres together it does loose a bit of that strong and defined musical feel on a number of the songs, it does blend togther but sometimes not in the best way possible

It might seem silly but I've always hated the titles of the last three songs (especially Hyper-Insomnia lol). Something about the fact all three have names that don't relate to anything lyrically, or even really thematically, in each song *and* all three coming back-to-back; it just sorta makes them kind of hard to distinguish from one another - can't count the number of times I've got a bit of one of them stuck in my head but can't for the life of me remember which one it is! Just a small material gripe, but still, the whole album is an absolutely banger

I just started watching your reviews and I'm right there with you. Plagiarism aside, I personally consider Chuck their best album, BUT this one is my favorite. Have you heard the song I'm 100% positive Deryck used as the inspiration for Still Waiting? It's called Don't Call Me Babe by Shampoo, and it's... like, the guitar is unmistakably similar to Still Waiting. I THINK it's a worse offender than The Bitter End, actually. That aside, I can't deny the fact I pretty much love every SECOND of this album. All that aside, I do have one small complaint? The sorta border you have when you play music triggers my OCD BAD lol. I'm constantly trying to tell that blue line to stop moving because it distracts me from your otherwise amazing commentary.

@@andhedrewbees Pretty much whenever you have a video or something, concert footage etc, there's a sort of loading bar effect where the outer blue bar kind of goes up and down and it exposes space then covers it up. Now, it could be my autism, but like I'm internally shouting at it to STOP or at least pick a space, because it's sort of frustrating that it won't? I dunno.

Ok I get what your saying. I will say you are the first to take issue with the border, but's that not to invalidate your complaint. I added that bit of animation, cause I think the plain static border would be kinda boring and flat. The border also helps me avoid copyright. But maybe I could make an edit with slightly less animation.
