Fun fact! James and Lars from Metallica once said that sum41 is the most talented group of kids they've seen in a long time. Which is why they allowed sum41 to remake one of Metallicas songs and put it on this same album. James has been quoted as saying he prefers they're version better than the original.

Your daughters reaction to how excited you are is so wholesome. Reminds me of how my sister was with my dad when he got excited about something. But she was a bit more brash and blunt hahaha. Now they share that sense of humor and it's just beautiful. It's good to see a strong father daughter relationship and don't worry if she seems a bit aloof or shy it's just how we all are with our parents in the teen years, I'm 31 now and my sister will be 30 in October but thankfully our relationships with our parents are where they should be as adults and I feel like that is what most come to as we grow out of the awkward teen days 😋 anyway glad to find the channel and peace & love!

Dad has great taste in music, every video you do, I was a fan of that specific band. Was a big Sum 41 fan (or The Sums), being a punk rocker from the 1970’s, always loved punk, so loved Green Day, Blink 182 and Sum 41, along with other punk bands from the 90s & 2000s.

Watched a couple videos. I'm 32. My 16 year old self that had a really hard time growing up and listened to this song repetitively saw something in your daughter before they started breaking stuff in the video. Probably just related to the song creating emotion, but its worth looking into. No teenager is without emotion, but any teen would be stonefaced knowing they are getting put on the internet.
