Du hast mich is you have me. Du hasst mich is you hate me. So it’s like a double meaning.

Saw them in 1973 outside the Royal Exhibition building in Fitzroy Melbourne, I was 12 and it was my first concert! ps: Melbourne is the only city in the world to win World's most livable city 7 years running and was recently voted friendliest city in the world.

One of the most epic lead-ups and climatic ascent and descent vocal moments in rock history. Both people: "So what's for dinner?". lol

So fortunate to have grown up through the 80s. The music was on another level. I saw them live 2x in NY, and it was epic. They are so good live. The place always erupts.

Flash Gordon is based on a comic book and the movies a faithful adaption it was made in 1980. Some of the special effects don’t hold up but it’s a bit campy a bit cheesy but it’s still a great movie

I just took an Uber over to a dental office that I clean in the city that I live in near Toronto and Uber driver maybe 60 years old from Middle East gave me his phone to play a song on way over so I picked " I remember you" and after it was done we then listen to "18 and life" ,,,, like maybe two or three times throughout the songs he stopped the music to say, "who is that singer I really like,,,,," I said it's a band called skid row and the singer is Sebastian Bach.,,,, and just before he dropped me off he said who's that singer again,,,,, I said from back seat; Sebastian Bach! so he marked it in his phone bookmarked it and he said again,,,,"oh I like I like that song very much" He has a a new fan from middle east that will now continue to spread from here to people whove never heard before 😊

It´s Feb 15th, 2006, Mexico City... U2, my favorite band of all time, is playing in my hometown. I arrive at 05:00 am at the stadium ´cause I have one bracelet that will allow me to get inside the semi-circle to be just in front of the band. Around 5pm we are allowed to enter the stadium and when I settle down I realize there will be NONE standing between me and the band, I even get to rest my arms in the fence that separates the audience from the catwalk so I am gonna meet these guys just a couple of meters away. The concert starts, Edge is on my side almost 90% of the time. I get to see Bono just a couple of times but man... This is Bono!!... aaaaaand it´s my birthday. ONE OF THE HAPPIEST NIGHTS IN MY WHOLE GODDAMNED LIFE.

My friend hung herself freshman year. School shooting happened at a rival high school freshman year. She's not dumb, but the gravity of the seriousness will make sense with age. 2004. So I'm young too.

Funnily enough, I once wrote an ode, in the style of McGonagall and Milligan, after I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Brian Blessed aka Prince Vultan at a Q&A/screening of Flash Gordon back in my uni days, and he launched, apropos of nothing, into an hour+ set of him doing his various routines, explaining his life and career and various crazy adventures; the man required neither a microphone nor any additional means of amplification - just a stage, a captive audience, and for the host to get out of his way and let the man work the crowd. This was my ode to the occasion. OooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooyezoyezoyez! Gather round, folks, for the Ballad of Brian Blessed... T'was in the spring of 2014, son, When Lord Sir Brian Blessed struck the town of Lincoln without rhyme or rea-son. Late that night, without any warning, He blew out the venue's entire PA system, simply by yawning!

I... don't see how I could watch this with a teenager. This sounds about as mortifying as when my high-school language club ended up watching the Life of Brian (nudity, jokes about sex organs) with our high school teacher. I mean bless your heart for trying to share your enthusiasm for this fantastic (as in wildly imaginative) movie with your kid, but no.
