To anyone wondering how to get that beautiful "repeating" intro down, use a digital delay at 320 ms. Crank the mix (~80% wet) and keep the feedback low. The riff is at about 140 bpm using eighth notes.

Love when music makes me feel like I'm on an adventure of sorts. Another one that puts off that vibe is 'On Impulse" by Animals as Leaders. If you've not heard it before, I mean if you haven't experienced it yet then go, run, make haste, or in the words of the great wizard Gandalf, "Fly you fools!!!" , go play that track.

AFTER THE BURIAL - Neo Seoul In the twisting, I see myself Pixelated, construed, I am reaching out For something, for me to hold on to But I never do Failing, I never will Some things just do not exist And some days I'll be the evoked of The hope for a landing, for safety But the synapse fires, exploding And this is letting go Life, this is a lesson that we don't sign up for But we fatefully learn And as I grow old Time will break me apart From stem to bough, and my heart to reason I will become the dirt of which I began Distracted by imperfection we are covered in rust Hopeless and distant, we sway side to side From season to season, we fall apart So hold this in your hand, and don't let go These are the things that we live for Some things just do not exist And some days I'll be the evoked of dissonant But we still try Prudent through our brothers' eyes Back at the start We lost our direction We are covered in rust Hopeless and distant, we sway side to side Distracted by imperfection We fall apart

@steffren
@steffren 8 жыл бұрын
The beginning is all just guitar with dotted eighth delay on it by the way, and the guy playing it, Justin, died last year under some particularly sad circumstances so it sort of adds up when you hear the sad sounding intro. I agree about the vocals though, not my sort of thing either.

Wilfred its funny you should mention the conspiracy because back in the day when he had gone on facebook and posted a rant about the summerian records label my friend had shared it a few days before his death and i remember saying to him "Dude something is going to happen to him for speaking out against the label." surely enough he was dead 3 days later and me and my buddy were in complete disbelief.
