I’ve read the book. It’s basically the same as astrology following the earth, water, air and fire zodiac signs guideline and then just explaining how you can work with them or better understand where they’re coming from.

The real takeaway is that in order to be successful you need to understand not only the personality types, but individual motivations. First you need to know how to communicate and next you need to understand how to influence.

I am none of these types. Also the idea that "a blue might frustrate a red in a meeting due to his lack of assertiveness" is stupid. You know what would REALLY make a red angry? Being in a meeting with a bunch of other reds who want to step all over him.

I'm red and yellow. When I'm on vacation I'm yellow. When in business I red. When friends first and work for me after they are shocked thinking I'm a nice guy but in work I'm not a nice guy especially because I'm Paying them. Gives me the right to hold them responsibilities. I always tell people if they work for me they won't like me no more because I'm Not nice.

The idea of pigeon holing people into a few specific types is already going out of style.

This book is calling it personality types but the fact is we’re talking about brains. About 10% of the population at least is mentally wired different and possibly dysfunctional Lu

Bad book, read it with a ton of salt. It can be beneficial for maybe high school age or maybe gymnasium age.. for 15yo's. Its a heavily simplification of personalities based on 2000 year old knowledge.
