I've never been in a Dollar General store, having no idea they even had puzzles. I think it is fantastic that your husband becomes aware of Dollar General's summer sale on puzzles and makes sure to let you know. He is thinking of you.

🤣 I couldn't help myself 🤣 If you have a DG nearby, I recommend you check them out and see what selection they have. If you don't have a DG, any dollar store could have a selection. I was almost mad at him for telling me because I was in my "no buy" phase, but then I knew he meant well and wanted me to do a little shop on the cheap.

This was so fun to watch! My hubby doesn't tell me about sales, but he almost always gets me a puzzle or a few from Walmart or Target, or wherever he might have went shopping at. 😅 he go out shopping much more than I do! I am so happy for you, finding such an amazing treat!! I went to my dollar general and they had a bunch of the little kid puzzles (like 10-50 pieces) and only one adult puzzle that was boring and ugly 😭😭 But I do travel periodically for work, so now I now I know where to go as a tourist lol. "So what are you doing in Atlanta after your meetings?" "I'M GOING TO DOLLAR GENERAL, BABY!"

🤣Dollar General is a hot spot for lots of things! I'd love to travel to all the different locations throughout the states, even though I have a ton of them surrounding me. Hopefully your location will start to stock up on the good puzzles though.

Mandy, Mandy, Mandy.....your video had me giggling the whole way thru as you reminded me so much of what my wife is like when she gets into her shopping moods. lol This video has the largest number of puzzles that are so pretty and even I would have gone beyond budget . Glad I wasn't there shopping with you as I prob would have bought 90% of the jigsaws you showed lol Lovely set of jigsaws btw.......that gazebo is stunning. :-) Love it when I hear about supportive partners cos in my business, I work as a Relationship Trainer & Therapist and the number of couples who don't talk or share amazes me. So it is great to hear your hubby supports you in your hobbies 🙂

😁Shopping gets us excited! If you were there, we would've wiped out the entire stock LOL. I could've easily bought double than what I grabbed, but I had to keep within budget...well to be honest I didn't have the spare cash in my budget but it didn't break the bank anyways. And I'm very lucky to have a hubby that's extremely supportive with everything 🥰

I can just imagine the checkout clerk's look if we both went....ummmmm excuse me, sir, you need to organise a truck as we're buying all of your jigsaws. How does the phrase go?.....a woman buys something she doesn't need for half price, just cos its on discount whereas a man will pay 2X the amount for something he needs lol. Yes, you need the extra money for your dearly loved....coffee hehehe So good thing you didn't break the bank. I can imagine you and hubby both being extra playful and teasing each other heaps, in a positive way though...... 🤣😁

@@erniesulovic4734 Definitely more than shoes or even clothes. I don't really care about those things and tend to wear pretty much the same things. I have a very small wardrobe and maybe about two pairs of shoes that I rotate every now and then. I actually hate shopping for clothes. I do love food shopping though 😆So the extra money I saved can be used to stock up my cabinets with bags of coffee! And yes, hubby and I are very teasy and playful with each other. He truly is my best friend and super supportive. 🥰

Sorry for delay in replying, Mandy. Had my hernia op yest. Couldnt move 1mm without being in absolute pain. Staying an extra night in the hospital. Wow, not into shoes or clothes. Im similar in that respect and will have even less once i move. Ive decided to ask my wife to come with me and im going to ask the salesperson if they sell any invisible trousers cos my Mrs likes them the best....eagerly awaiting her to slap me and go red in the face. And that is just a start yet wont go into those, here lol If you really like to tease and more so if you have kids or grand kids, i would get a fart machine. Setting the scene briefly. Cold, stormy night. Candles are lit at dining room table. Putting together a horror type puzzle. When everyone is immersed, set off the fart machine and then just watch......lol This is just one of many playful things im planning with my granddaughter 😆🤣 Oh that hurt... still cant laugh without it hurting. With that, me is signing off. Happy, happy, happy....jigsaw shopping 😀

Heronim is Charles Wysocki's older brother, Harry Wysocki and Heronim is his Polish name! Great finds Mandy! Love the images! I have never done any of the dollar store puzzles but would be willing to take a look and see if there is something I like. I really like the Heronim and the 1940's Breakfast Nook images. Sue lox is great!!! That is Tcg Toys that produces Charles Fazzino puzzles. The puzzles of Atlantic City, New York and Miami are by Charles’s Fazzino, a famous 3D artist, the puzzle are reproductions of his artwork.

Hi Mandy! it's so interesting that a lot of puzzlers talk about Dollar Puzzles, which is a new concept for me, having nothing even close to that here in New Zealand. But you go girl, the puzzles look very nice and great prices too, thats what I normally pay for second hand ones here, around $5 mark (probably like 3USD). very good find indeed! have a great week ahead

I still find it so interesting how NZ puzzle prices are insane, but I guess that’s all to do with import costs. Incredible selection! I would have had a hard time deciding. Your tastes are very similar to mine. I just finished that Cardinal Farm Cottage. Very nice. Sure Lox is good quality at that price. Love that winter village scene. The breakfast nook is cute.

Believe me, there were a ton more sets that I absolutely loved and would've grabbed. I could've easily walked out of that store with more than double than what I bought 🤣 I'm glad to hear that Sure lox is good quality. I have a couple of Cardinal sets that I picked up during my last DG puzzle haul, but I've yet to try them out. I will be planning a Dollar General puzzle comparison video.

Ugh, I just checked my shelves to see if I was right in thinking I already had it...and I don't ☹️I do have one that is very similar though. I'm hoping DG pull off another big sale soon so I can grab the rest that I wanted 😂 I can't wait to do the breakfast nook set. I can't stop staring at it!

You are making me want to go to dollar general to buy a puzzle! The beach one with the bike especially peaked my interest. I’ve never done a sure lox puzzle, but I did recently buy one at a thrift store. The pieces seem to be good quality, and when I put 2 together they held pretty well. Edit- so i did go look at the dollar general that is right by where i live. they only had about 10 puzzles and some of those were repeats. definitely a very tiny selection, but then it is in a very small town. i’ll have to search at other stores as i come across them.

I'm not really sure what to expect with this brand, but I'm glad to hear that about the Sure lox pieces. Hopefully as the stores start switching stock for the seasons, they might start building up their puzzle selection. Mine never had that many before, so I'm hoping this is something they are trying to roll out in all locations. I'd be worth checking out that location every once in awhile.

I like that surelock brand👍🎉⭐ But some of Dollar General Cardinal Brand ones are terrible...it's hit and miss.

Glad to hear Sure lox is ok. Interesting about the Cardinal sets though, especially since they are just a slight more expensive and seems to be overall "better quality looking". I have a couple of those sets that I still need to try. I'm looking forward to working on my DG puzzle comparison video like I did with Dollar Tree.
