I did a lot of research before I started my locs and you were one of the main reasons that I decided to take the plunge. And I have not regretted it since. And looking at your videos all the time has managed to keep my hair super healthy and this video was amazing. thank you so much!

I just got two more of the loc socks from your site. Eat fish and denim blue. Very pretty and quality. These SOCS are helping me get through the awkward phase.

Hi Keisha, thanks for sharing, I am into 4 months locs and I would like to dye my hair, I used a rinse but its already came out after 3 washers. Do you know of any permanent dye that is safe
@aysherbint26846 жыл бұрын
Hey Keisha!! What brand of black dye do you use because am also due for a dye job and retwist. Thanks for the video, I was wondering if I need to do another ACV rinse since I already did it like 2 Mths ago! Love and Locs from 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I'll have to try this. My back row of locs is giving me so much trouble. I'm pretty sure it's build up, but it may be lint. Do you have a good way to tell if it's build up or lint? Someone told me to saturate it with water and if it's build up I should be able to squeeze the loc and extract a small amount. If it's lint it won't come out like that. What are you thoughts on that method?
@KeishaCharmaine6 жыл бұрын
Jackielocs that’s a great technique to see the difference. Buildup tends to look grainy up close and you can see the fibers in lint.

I just got locs today and the guy used tea tree wax or something and u can actually see it in my hair. Would u advise me to wash it out even though it has just been a day? Please help me Keisha
@jusme22666 жыл бұрын
Andile Ngcobo wax is almost always a no no. You can twist with water or aloe Vera gel (yellow bottle green top) or rose water / vitamin e oil mixture or Jamaican black castor oil... But I wouldn't touch any waxes.
@KeishaCharmaine6 жыл бұрын
Andile Ngcobo I just wouldn’t continue using it.
@lumiesgotcha6 жыл бұрын
Over time the wax may harden and it will be extremely difficult to thoroughly wash out of your locs. And you dont want hard rough feeling locs. Let this be the first and last time any wax is used on your locs. When you get a retwist, make sure the stylist does not use wax. Your hair can loc without it.
