Always loved watching Chad fish and talk about fishing. Stand up guy no doubt. Catfishing has been in my blood most my life but I still learn something new watching his videos.

That was an awesome fishing program. You are catching like shooting ducks in a boat LOL. What kind of punch bait was using. Where you went on vacation I was only 20 minutes from you. I live in Foley Alabama. Chad next time you go to fry your catfish put a little bit of yellow food coloring in your milk it'll make it bright orange. And your cornmeal will be a beautiful golden color. We used to do that in a restaurant where I work cooking chicken and catfish. Hope to see you in another episode like always your friend Ray from Foley Alabama roll tide roll

I use a med. Heavy 7, and 8 ft. Ugly stick opened face. They work really well for me. I fish alot of rocks in Kankakee River in Illinois. As far as baits, I use chicken liver, small blue gill, ( 3,4 ) inches. and shrimp it's pretty cheap wear I live . My line is 20 lbs. Test suffix.

I see you have some spinning setups on the boat. What size and model spinning reels do you like? And what do you typically use the spinning setups for over a bait caster?
@Catfishedge3 жыл бұрын
Those are 2000 size reels. I use those for fishing channel catfish in deep water fishing straight up and down.

Wow. Nice job man 👍. How deep was that water and what’s holding the fish in a place like that? Bait? That’s kinda crazy to me for it being this hot. Does a spot like this depend on any factors in relation like a channel swinging in close or around a known feeding flat/cove, etc?
@Catfishedge3 жыл бұрын
2.5 to 3 foot. No deep water near.

Great videos! Got a question for you, what do you do when you consistently catch smaller channels? I’ve found places like this and along rocks where I catch 1 keeper for every 10 small ones.
@Catfishedge3 жыл бұрын
Fish through them until the better ones show up or move.

Couple shakes of cayenne to the mix .... the American public generally does not tolerate any level of "spice". If stuff like I make was commercialized, the company would be sued.
