I really miss Dr Don Rose on KFRC. I grew up in Chico, Ca and listened to KFRC 610 San Francisco and KFI 640 Los Angeles. Two of the best AM music stations in the late 70's. Keep in mind, in 1979 I was only 13 years old.

9:06 Big Tom Parker had one of those voices that just "sounded like the radio." I always enjoyed his work on KFRC and KYUU.

In response to comment below...That's Paul Frees, the voice of Boris Badenoff on "Rocky and Bullwinkle", and to this day the voice inside Disney's Haunted Mansion ride.
