Your work is so extraordinary and innovative it blows my mind. I tried one today and it was a disaster. But you make it look so easy! True master. I have about 6.000 questions but will eek them out so as not to drive you completely around the bend. First one. Do you start out knowing what you are aiming for or have a visual prompt (like a photo) as reference, or do you just wing it and see where the process takes you?

It takes time and practice! I’ll work with a reference rarely, but I usually know roughly where I want to go. I’m recording this week for some videos that go into this in much more depth.

@@HeartstoneArt I so look forward to seeing them. I have been working my way through all of your KZbin Videos and I see you started a series which has been most helpful. I also managed to find answers to some of my questions so there won't be so many thrown at you!

This is a keeper for me. That layering was just what I wanted to get into. ❤

Thanks for the video. What was the spray you used to clean the plate?

It’s just water.

Beautiful piece! Are those oil pastels that you used for the tree line and to enhance the furrows?

Thank you! Yes, I'm using oil pastels for the tree line and furrows.
