She's my fav Round table knight and Lancer. The fact she was done this dirty for no reason is disgusting. Even after all she went through in Camelot and Avalon she still gets the short end of the stick for literally no reason. She was supposed to be a Mini Lancelot based on her story, being a fangirl and the fact she even screams arondight imitation when using her extra attack! Her kit isnt terrible the issue is her atk stat and even then i still find her decent , fino tends to downplay unit that do not allow brain dead plays

@@morsayxd Not entirely true. Look at his video on Summer Kiara for example. She is a powerful farmer but can be slightly tricksy to use because the order of skills to press for reliable farming can be different.

Gareth makes Summer Tomoe look like an amazing unit. At least gamer mommy in a one piece has 100% crit damage+ for 3 turns with a starbomb, star gather and star generation for 3 turns to fuel her crits. In grail fronts, that self-sufficient kit makes her an absolute monster and she has an edge over Lancelot Saber due to how her AoE NP lets her nuke more than one servant and Grail Front servants don't have that much HP anyways. That and Tomoe can also easily generate NP charge from arts crits , which is made easier when she's alone in situations like Grail Front as she does not have to deal with facecard RNG.

That's because she the OG welfare servant. Those assholes in DW decided that a free 4* should just be a glorified 3* but with the same Cost as a 4*. Classic case of "Get what you PAID for". Even nowadays, you don't even get Rare Prisms from burning extra copies of her from the FP gacha.

I ended up getting 7 copies of summer Gareth, but only 1 erice and I spent around the same SQ on each. I was so disappointed I really wanted to use Erice effectively.

Using Gareth as a sunsetter with Gudaguda poster girl so Barghest can solo is a totally viable strategy imo

An alternative to running Habetrot with Camlann is giving Gareth a 50% starting CE with max Mana Loading, Ms Crane, and double Oberon instead of double Koyan. The Ms Crane stipulation is that you'll usually need an extra turn for startup to give Gareth extra charge (4 turns for 3 waves), though this at least makes her eligible for event farming when the event ce has starting charge. She'll want to be at least NP2 for damage as well as quicker access to her Mana Loading from the extra Servant Coins.

It's so weird to have a long lived account with lots of servants built up. I rolled every summer 4 star for this year, but I don't care about any of them because even at np3, Gareth would need to be pretty nasty to out value default Artoria. Wu is competing with either Sanzang or Summer Nero, and I don't even know how to feel about Erice because she's an avenger and I have had enough of them to know they won't see the light of day unless I feel like messing about. So I know none of their abilities, I'm too busy looping the 90++ node with saber astolpho and a level 80 Summer Skadidly.

I have 890ish sq left after getting np1 wu, price, np2 Ibuki.. got so much good use out of Ibuki in the event and in farming AND in clearing some other stuff like ooku and traum post story map. Rolled for lady A. Spent all my sq to pity her. Got 20 %&*$ing copies of Gareth. Hope they make her usable to lessen the sting.

My 5*luck for this summer was extraordinary, 3 S. Ibuki, S. SKADI in my 1st 10 roll. Sadly 4* luck was down, but, lady luck made that up for me by giving me 5 copies of S. Gareth, with no Merlin. Point is, I spent too much in wanting something I don't need instead of being happy when I got the stuff i needed.

I had to check but Kscope is actually the best for her. Most of the 60% starting NP CEs are limited CEs that require 5 copies to MLB for the 60% effect. The ones that aren't limited but offer 60% are Demonic Bodhisattva (MLB 60%, boosts her T1 damage only, 5*, split stat), Imaginary Number (non-MLB 60%, 4*, split stat) and Crystallization of Winter (non-MLB 60%, 4*, Atk only). Of these three, only Crystallization of Winter is solid because it gives the most Atk stat to the Servant sorely lacking in Atk stat. But if one has a Kscope at lvl 68+, they might as well use Kscope instead of an MLB lvl 80 Crystallization of Winter since said Kscope has higher Atk stat and higher starting NP.

Okita J is not bad, come on, she is a triple quick assassin with 5 hits on those quick cards, she shits out stars like there is no tomorrow. Her np does decent dmg, she has a perfect 30% charge and a hard survival skill. What else could one want ? In deffense of Gareth, there does exist a 60% charge + baster up CE. Now as for lady Avalon, who comes from the same banner as Gareth, well she is basically a worse Merlin, and you never need two Merlins on your team anyway, ppl realy should not roll for her, especialy considering other banners at the time.

Lady Avalon does have situations where she's more useful than OG Merlin (basically, finishing a fight quickly). Other than that, she has weaknesses, such as longer cooldowns and her NP buffs (the NP gen and Max HP) only lasting for three turns despite having higher magnitudes. This makes her not viable in long fights.

She turns it from a fight where you have to hopscotch around certain Hassans until you can remove their buffs into an all you can eat Halal buffet.

Tbh, for me, her only problem are her atk stat and how the bonus atk up that she get from her sunlight niche only last for 1 turn + only 20% at base. Aside of that, she seems pretty normal to me, not the best, but not the worst either.

Its like the devs just slapped random shit in her skills and called it a day. There is just no synergy in her kit. If her battery was at least 30% she would be barely decent. And no worries, even if they buff one of her skills she will still be terrible no matter what.
