Top tier video, I have never considered some of these ideas. I also like watching ASMR videos (sleep aid). They are conviniently tagged by language and cover many specific situations. I always liked the idea of reading a cheesy novel as well, in German we call them "Groschenromane". Take care :)

Yesssss, reading trashy beach reads in my target language has been so fun for me 😂 I really don’t enjoy reading kids books, so these are a nice combo of easy language but also entertaining 😄 Bonus is that I don’t need to worry about anyone reading over my shoulder because 99% chance they wouldn’t understand 😂

Oh the trip planning one is so unique! I work at a tourist information office so I've been doing something similar, reading articles/watching vlogs of people travelling here and not only is it good for immersion and vocab but it's also so interesting just to see what foreigners think about my home town!

@@PolyglotProgress It actually is super fun! We don't have a lot of Italian tourists where I live unfortunately but I do get to speak quite a bit of French which is super nice!

It was one of the top factors in choosing a place to move to... like equal to job opportunities which is maybe not what you're supposed to do but I definitely marked certain cities down for cooler weather and anywhere it snows got knocked off VERY early 😬😬😬😬

A quick summary + commentary: 1. Study outside Balcony sounds great... but I don't have one :) I tried to sit in the garden while studying but my level of concentration dropped 70% each time lol So that's not everyone's cup of tea for sure ㅠㅠ 2. Plan a trip This activity sounds so much fun! Just thinking about doing that makes me excited so I'm sure I'll try it out soon, thanks for the tip ^^ 3. Be a "tourist" in your city Seems to become a highly amusing activity if you're "in the mood" :D I'll definitely include this one in my Korean and German routine for August~ *Tip: It must be even more interesting and beneficial if you have a language exchange partner or a tutor~ You can do some sort of roleplays being a "tourist" to recycle and learn useful vocab 4. As someone already said before me: This is definitely a top tier video. This video does give me some interesting insight on how to improve my language learning experience. Edit: My opinion on summer really depends on where I am. One of the reasons I really hate summers in my native country (Israel) is, just like in southern California or Florida, the average temperature can reach 30 Celsius degrees (sometimes even up to 35-37 degrees) and I find it intolerable. On the other hand, when I am in central or northern Europe, I am quite the summer lover as I really like grey skies and clouds and lots of rain and wind (something most of my friends cannot fathom).

Thank you very much. I am sending you a big hug from Brazil…I’ve been studying English by myself for a long time and you inspired me to appreciate the idea of become a polyglot. My year goal is french. I wish I can do that. I love your videos and I get a lot of tips from there .. good luck 🍀 (ps: you’re cool a lot 🤗).

Hey Abigail, would you mind sharing your German music playlist please? Recently I've been listening to a lot of Spanish music, I feel like summer is the perfect season for it! I'm excited for the beginning of fall soon. Days getting shorter means more time indoor for language learning 😄

I might share it at some point! I tend to listen to just the full discography of several artists (not just in German, it's how I am for every language haha) so it's not very share worthy, but maybe someday!
