Honestly I think Douglas and Mckeown should be switched. Douglas is looking so good right now it feels like she might get the WR. I wouldn't be surprised if she walks away from Paris as the most decorated swimmer.

Don't forget About Kate Douglas and Alex Walsh, two american teammates who both have gone 2:07.0 in recent years (they won all three world titles together since 2021). Kate is looking better than ever and Alex also seems to be in form. I think this is going to be the most exciting race in the olympic swimming program. Super intriguing because they all have different approaches/strenghts. All of them (except maybe Walsh) could win multiple gold medals this summer.
