I keep hearing of Paul Washer and this is my first sermon of his I’ve watched. I’m not even close to finished and this is one of the best sermons I’ve ever heard. I can see myself coming back to it over and over.

I’ve listened to hundreds of hours of Paul Washer’s sermons - some from back in the day when he was young, and others now as an older saint. Seems that the Lord has really softened his heart over the years, as He does with most of His children - it’s been really encouraging to see this development. Thanks for sharing this sermon. Costi your amazing to come out of your families background, & now you love Paul Washer. I use to see your uncle in Toronto in the 80's & 90's, so I am also amazed that God also set me free about a year ago now. Bless you & your ministry. Don't ever think you aren't reaching people, you sure are. You also played a part in having my eyes opened to so much I didn't know. I saw you 1st with Justin Peters.

I am surprised that Paul quoted Jeremiah 29:11 since that particular verse was for Israel only. Yes it’s for us to read and learn.

That was my thought too. How does it specifically apply to us today? How to determine what is general scripture versus pinpoint?

Since God is the same, and He knows the plans He had for His people Israel, He also knows the plans He has for us as His people the church. Isn't a stretch to apply that same logic to us that His plans and thoughts toward us are the same as Israel, since we have now been adopted and engrafted in.
