Summer Thrift Flip- (Tropical Vacation Vibes!)

Summer is the perfect time to try thrift shopping and thrift flipping! :) This is a fun way to recycle second-hand clothes and turn them into unique pieces just for you! Your travel and stay-cation wardrobes will thank you (and so will your budget)! ;) In today's project, I'll show you the summery, Hawaiian- themed pieces I've been thrifting lately! (I may not be vacationing in Hawaii, but that doesn't mean I can't dress like it!) Next, we'll upcycle the pieces that need a little crafty love! (Don't worry- it's nothing a little Rit dye and sewing magic can't handle!) If I were working with this particular pattern, I would have left the stripes vertical and kept the fringe.

I think that keeping the fringe gives it an extra zing when walking. Again, an honest opinion only, and strictly mine.
