Thrift Flip: modern to "vintage" 1940s

Today's thrift flip may be one of my favorites! :) As soon as I spotted this floral prairie dress at the thrift store, I knew I had to get it! Choosing how to upycled that dress into something wearable took some deliberation, though. After lots of sewing (and time), our dress was transformed from modern fast fashion to 1940s -inspired!! :) Of course, I had to pair my "vintage" dress with retro shoes, true vintage earrings, and my attempt at wet-set hair for a spring photo shoot! :) Join me for the thrifting, flipping, and time traveling adventure, and see if you get inspired to try some retro DIY's of your own!

The BEST stuff is in the thrift shops. Pure cotton....lots of mens shirts that can be repurposed... I will not buy anything made in China; it's not the high quality like the Japanese or german ceramics. ..Or, made in the USA. The dress you made is nice but 37 minutes for this is a bit too long.
