I don't feel good wearing yellow clothes, but I have a GREAT yellow handbag---not too large or small---and low-heeled sandals that are almost the exact same color, and they make me smile when I wear them. They are my spring and summer pop of color.

My favorite designer, Ralph Lauren, is the king of the stripe shirt. I love his designs and classic color choices. I have thrifted over the past 1.5 years a whole wardrobe in Ralph. He really has a sweet color of butter yellow this summer.

Thanks Audrey. What a great video. I've never been a yellow fan but this new trend of pale buttermilk yellow has me hooked. I've brought a few pieces into my wardrobe and I'm really enjoying them. And like you said they are like a neutral in many cases. Yellow is my husband's favorite color so needless to say he is very happy that I'm finally wearing yellow. I love using accessories for a pop of color or make an outfit balanced. Linens, cottons in tops, pants and maxi length skirts are my summer vibes. I’m more comfortable in thin, vertical striped details that blend in rather than a bold stripes.

I would love to see the full view of the dress you are wearing. My all time favorite trend that you presented is the Bermuda short. I have navy, white, tan, and ivory linen Bermuda shorts. In fact, I just steamed all of them yesterday. They are so classic. I purchased the tan ones with a matching blazer and the ivory ones with a matching vest. J.Crew and Banana Republic have wonderful options. The butter yellow is really pretty, but it is not a color that I can wear. The 2nd trend that I love is stripes. Have many versions of them. 💜💜💜If there is an item in a color that is trending that doesn’t come around too often, GET IT, just make sure it’s in a classic silhouette…I LOVE purples (purple reds and purple blues, lavenders, you name it) but I don’t come across it often but don’t want to make the mistake of looking outdated when the trendy iteration ends. So I get it in a button up, or pencil skirt, and without frilly decor so I can then pair it with my neutral core wardrobe pieces for years.
