I can totally relate. While I've never been to the UK, I used to live in Alaska then moved to the east coast which is also extremely brutal during the summer. We in the us have something called central air, it has both heat and AC (in most cases). We have a thermostat in a central room that we change between heat and cool from kinda a central control panel, altho this is not true for all buildings especially older ones, and yes we have vents in all rooms and intake vents in the hallways in most cases in which air is sucked up and cooled with a compressor. (like the one in your fridge) But great video!
