So much stuff happened during the event such as Shawn Michaels' return, Rock vs Brock, Chris Benoit vs Rob Van Dam, One thing that's for sure is that if you watch SummerSlam 2002. 2099 Best year evaaa. Love your content man. Each video really hooks me. I´m from Peru and got into wrestling when they started showing it over here in 1999. I was born in 1987 so I was a lil kid. One of the first things I ever saw was Chris Jericho´s debut promo. Since then I´ve been a Jericho fan. Go Jericho Go! Go Jericho Go! Lol Loved Wrestlemania 2000 although everyone shits on it, hahaha. I found the main event pretty entertaining actually. Maybe because I was a new fan and there was a lot of "world-building" with the McMahon in each corner storyline. They stopped showing WWF over here by 2001 so I never got to see Jericho become Undisputed Champion or any of the Stone Cold stuff. I read on it online though. No youtube or video sharing platforms, with lame ass slow AF internet at that time. So only photos in WWE.com and stuff like that. Aaaaaanyway, your videos really immerse me in how the environment, feeling and vibe was in each period. So it´s pretty cool. I thoroughly enjoy putting the picture together and filling into all the 2001-2010 material, which I never watched. I lived in the US when I went to study university from 2006 to 2010 over there. Lovely Erie, PA. I completely forgot wrestling existed though. Hahaha. I´ve been watching again since 2010, although the past years WWE has become unbearable to me and I just watch videos on youtube. Damn this message keeps on getting longer than expected. Hahaha. Ok. Im off now. Just wanted to thank you for your work, it is quite unique. Summer slam had it all 2 huge main events on the same level that’s very rare . Only thing missing was a 5 star tag team match . Opening match best Ppv opening and the edge Eddie and Benoit rvd solid ... wm 2001 tops this because of TLC 2 , street fight and rock Austin which is the biggest main event . Summerslam 2019 was also very good imo. You have Charlotte vs Trish which was arguably the match of the night, brock vs seth was very good, the fiend debut, becky vs natalya was a good opener, goldberg had his moment which was entertaining. Besides orton vs kofi, the whole event was very enjoyable i ranked it a lot higher than other summerslams.

Nah I’ll take summer slam 2001 and 2005 over this one. This one was still cool though. I liked some of 2017 a lot too off the top of my head. 2004 has a special place because it’s when I started watching wrestling again on a consistent bases.
