I think she obviously does well in more intimate settings. Performing in this manner is probably More comfortable for her. I hate the criticism she gets because people don’t know the difference between a performer and an ARTIST, which she’s clearly the latter. Creating music and being socially charming aren’t mutually exclusive either. She’s def a gifted artist and I wish more people focused on the art, and not if she can regale us with typical celebrity charms.

Love her 🖤 Edit: For anyone that thinks I brought up her social anxiety for no reason, I’ve been of hers fan for a long time, since her “Tsunami” days. Summer is an inspiration for me specifically because of it. I rarely see black women be open about social anxiety, so it’s easy for me to feel alone. Her ability to persevere in spite of it, rather it be large performances or hate online, really makes me believe in myself as someone living with social anxiety also.
