@@mountainbuck Thanks Brother! That was the latest in the season I ever shot a buck (January 8th), and one of the few with a gun. I love the Tactacam, I mount to my Crossbow, compound and gun. With the hunting pressure we get & spooky bucks, the Tactacam that's mounted to the bow is the only video I get of the shot. The tactacam has its quirks, but the 5.0 with the 8x zoom is decent. I made a video on it a few years ago.

Awesome. I was thinking about purchasing some climbing sticks for next season. I wounder if would be better to look for lighter ones for when you need to hike in the woods

Hey Definit1on! It all depends on what your needs are and how you plan on hunting in my opinion. If you find a great spot and want to stay there all season, I’d go with the more permanent solution. If you might move around to multiple locations, the lighter ones might make sense. (I often find myself second guessing my location at some point and think about trying a new spot if I haven’t seen anything for a while). Also keep in mind that the lighter weight sticks might not get you as high in the tree (just something to consider). Best of luck with whatever you choose 👍🏻

Is there a good way to use a cable lock or something on it to prevent theft? I use helium and lone wolf sticks but it would be nice to have a more permanent set up in a spot I know I’ll hunt all season. I’m on public land though. Nothing will really stop a thief but keeping an honest man honest generally works.

Hey Labradorslobber, thanks for checking out my channel! That may be a challenge as you are able to take this apart/put it together in sections. I’ve seen guys leave 2 higher climbing sticks installed on the tree and take the lower one with them (to prevent people from reaching the other two). You’d have to bring one stick (or section in this case) with you each time, but it beats having your stuff stolen.
