Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

Cool man. Question though... how do you carry any extra gear? I use a ladder stand, and then bring a pack with my drinks, snacks, camera gear, rain gear, seat pad, etc.

Angler For Life good question. I actually had recorded me talking about that but the video was getting a bit long so I cut it out. There’s 2 options. 1. Attach the wheels and just wheel the stand out so you can wear a backpack too (my preferred method when the trails are clear and dry). 2. Having the stand upside down like this creates a bit of a cradle n you can easily put a backpack, or other gear, or even field dresses game. The latter is tougher on my shoulder, so I try to avoid it but in some scenarios the wheels don’t work well.

I'm not sure how long they have been out but summit has a set of side bags for the climbers. I recently bought them and I have so much extra space in them. The only thing I really carry in now is my bow. I'm going to but the cart system as soon as I can scrounge up extra funds. I don't know how its not advertised more, definitely a game changer!

Do you have a video of you climbing a tree with that stand? I'm really interested in the Razor, but I cannot find any videos of it with reviews. I'm absolutely a fan of Summit, but due to a bad spinal injury I quit climbing 15 years ago. I've spent the past 10 years in therapy/ exercising so I can get back in the trees.. and I am ready now. I'm deciding between summit razor, lone wolf sit and climb, and xop ambush... any advice is greatly appreciated. By the way, because of my spine condition I cannot carry much weight...so would you please let me know how much your set-up weighs? I will also install a very similar backpack system like you have. Thank you in advance, God bless you and yours! Donnie (Standing Goats Rescue on KZbin)

Standing Goats Rescue hey Donnie, The video below I show how I climb and get set up with this stand. The stand itself weighs about 22lbs which sounds like a lot but if you don’t carry a big pack full of camera gear like I do, it’s actually Incredibly light. As I mentioned in this video, weight is an issue for me too because I had surgery on my shoulder. If you don’t want to carry anything I’d advise you to get the Sherpa cart system but instead of turning your stand into a full on game cart, just leave it folded up with the wheels attached and you can just wheel it in behind you. Thanks for watching, don’t forget to subscribe!. Hunting season is ending so that means there will be lots of videos about DIY projects and other ways to make hunting a bit easier. Cool stand. Looking at the same model. Do you know what it weighs? Also do you get annoyed at all the straps you have to use to keep this quiet.

It supposedly weighs i think 22lbs, but weight is irrelevant, it’s all about how it sits on your back. It feels very light to me. And I read that same review before buying this about it being loud, that guy just didn’t know what he was doing. You don’t need straps to quiet it down. Just tighten the bolts on the lap bar and it won’t make a sound, I put the little strap on there for extra sturdiness but it’s not needed. Buy it! You will not be disappointed!

What do you do with your seat? I cannot get my seat to flip like I can with my viper sd

I used to take it off and reattach it so it would form a backrest but now I basically just flip it upside down while still attached and it accomplishes the same thing. This way it’s one less step to get ready
