5:06 - I wanted to ask him as generally as possible: as a cheater, what is it that made him think there were so many other cheaters in his raids? He kept kept answering with random shit like "Cheaters would VOIP to me" or other reasons that were not at all unique to his situation. I didn't want to ask him about SPECIFIC things (like people wiggling through walls) because he seemed like the kind of guy that will just sort of agree with what you say if you offer an explanation and you won't get the rest out of him. I wanted him to tell me specifics because there may have been things I hadn't considered outside of the obvious shit we all assume. Using this line of questioning and really challenging him on assumptions he was making, he went from initially claiming there was 5 cheaters in every raid to *maybe* 1 cheater in his raids other than him.

Actually the amount of cheaters in eft is depressing, There's plenty of examples where people with walls show their hacks in order to expose the problem. Many people in alot of their games would track them through walls or reposition waiting for a opportunity until it became clear they were both cheating. Its a really depressing reality for a game i love so much. As far as i know eft does not have any shadowban hacker only lobbies to explain this.

You can use the experiences from other games as and example for these things to explain the cheating and other related encounters involving cheating, when you play a game for a great many of hours, you get into many situations (Gunfights, sounds, player movements etc.) when you have been alot of these situations you develop a kind of norm for somethings, if you are a decent player you can tell that another person might be a good player by how ppl play, same thing goes for ppl that encounter something not quiet "organic" Csgo is a good example cause alot of ppl were trying to hide cheats for ever, and with a game as repetitious as Cs you kinda know when someone is doing some funny shit. I dont know if you wanted him to say something like "i can see their hacks" but i think thats what you are asking about?

So from personal experience when I interviewed cheaters. They would stream their cheats to me to show how good they are. With certain expensive cheats you can see peoples KD’s. Cheaters in Tarkovsky are bold. They use the eft official dcord to infect innocent gamers. They don’t fear band because they can buy stolen standard accounts for $5-$20 bucks. Private paid for clients like Foxy and other furry pussies don’t narc themselves out cuz they don’t want to lose $500 monthly sub that take months of applying for to gain access to. EFT needs sms two factor, root kit and disable of overlay support. Cheaters Don’t care if they get banned. There are 2 cheaters every raid. The client shows you kd. You know who is cheating if you are cheating.

I think the reason this is a big deal is getting missed. It's not only that he cheated, but he cheated from what, level 1 to 64? Streamed almost all of it BLATANTLY, and never got banned for it. Not once on that account. In fact the only ban he ever got was on a standard account long before he even cheated.

I've seen pictures of cheaters with like 100+ kd's, they can play a whole wipe while blatantly cheating and never get banned. The game has no real way for them to ban blatant cheaters, only battle eye which detects when cheats are running, but it takes a lot of money and time for that to be effective, and I don't think they are investing the money in it.

The clips they showed were pretty obvious for sure, but a lot of the time it probably isn't that obvious if the guy just hits shots and doesn't use crazy angles like the labs clip. After having played EFT for 3 years and knowing the maps etc, I think if I started using a radar I could survive almost every raid and pick and choose my kills and it would never be that obvious. If you get headshot running in the open, how do you know if it's a cheater? Getting legit kills like that is just timing/patience.

@@jackkohnjj I understand and also completely agree with you, I just mean that if you go through a lot of his VODs and stuff, he has many more than was shown where he's blatantly cheating. But I do agree with you that the line between a cheater and really bad timing or desync or whatever, is a hard line to define and it's actually very uncommon to fight someone who is blatantly cheating from their end. Despite what people say, I've had 4 wipes and never come across a fly hacker or anything like that.

I talked to a couple guys who used to use cheats to catch cheaters on private servers for games like arma, cod, cs...mainly they used walls to verify if other people were using walls to ban them. Sadly, cheats are so universally easy to get and set up, and are quite affordable that its almost scary to know that there are potentially a lot more soft cheaters than we realize. We only catch the people who make it obvious, but the ones who ride it out for long periods of time, toggling them on and off are the ones that ruin everything.

I got so fed up of the cheating last year that I bought a 30 day wallhack, 1 in every at least 3 raids, I would look at someone through a wall, wiggle, they would look back, and wiggle back and then we would leave each other alone. It wasnt until I got wallhacks myself I realised it was worse than I thought originally. It ruined the game for me and I stopped playing after a week even tho I had 3 weeks left I had already paid for. Came back during current wipe at the start (clean) and again got killed by a blatant cheater in at least every 4th raid. Uninstalled. At this point the playerbase consists of 40% cheaters 40% streamers and 20% not cheaters/streamers, the game just isnt worth playing until they can introduce match replays and an actual anticheat.

@Zorkki , the thing about match replays is that they are faked most of the time by extrapolating the data on your client backwards in time and reconstruct the scene of your death frame by frame. Cheaters are to be expected in basically all games. But cheaters in a game like EFT literally ruin it. They literally ruin it. I know I've run into some like I know some good hiding spots in all the maps and you'd have to be a computer or bot scanning every square inch of the map to find some of them ALL the time. Barring noise making or they saw you running into the spots or whatever. OR you have a maphack and you simply just know where I am. And this has happened more than a few times. And that's not even mentioning like the magic bullet type shots that ruin games on top of all of this. I mean if it was COD or something I wouldn't care as much but in a game like EFT that's literally the kind of thing that would drive some people away from it.

Yes, teens are still able to change but once you have reached adulthood and the neuroplasticity of your brain has drastically decreased your core-character/personality will be more or less fixed. The only change to come as an adult is slow, strenuous and wilful growth usually only induced by a lot of pain. Either a person has inherent morals and values or they don't (believes in following certain principles regardless of whether or not someone else is looking or not). Only a relatively small percentage of people have an intrinsic moral codex seated withing their own conscience. The majority of people derive their sense of right and wrong based on what is deemed acceptable in their social context - this is not the same as having a moral context. And some people reject the concept of morality all together (sociopaths/psychopaths etc.). Even the best of people are hardly trustworthy as soon as they have skin in the game(look a Stalin's Russia, Mao's China, Hitlers Germany or the DDR, alternatively look at social science experiments) - that makes most people extremely untrustworthy in Relation. Strive to become a person with a conscience, with a set of self-derived principles. Think about good and evil, right and wrong.

@Humanaut.
@Humanaut. Жыл бұрын
@@r00kiet80 Did you cheat in online multiplayer games or only in Singleplayer? I don't count Singleplayer cheating as a moral defect since there is nobody being harmed by it. It's a completely different category. The psychological literature states that personality is quite a stable and persistent entity. However I also see this reflected in my real life observations. I am currently 34. Of course people slowly change over the course of their lives. Not always for the better. Some things change. Some underlying constants stay the same. But the underlying personality once they become a fully matured adult (let's place the cutoff at 25 due to neural-placticity ending there) isn't something that changes by any margin one could consider large. Usually people only change fundamental, more deep rooted patterns of behaviors if they either have a really close call where something could have gone terribly wrong or something already did go terribly wrong. Even then a certain percentage only changes once or if they get caught and have to bear responsibility for it. Of course sometimes people can also look where their life is headed if they continue on the same course and some manage to alter their behavior sooner rather than later to adjust course. But even then: do they "merely" alter some behavioral patterns or do they really change as people? I guess the caveat I'd grant you is that I am intermingling personality and the developmental stage of moral conscience at this point. I'd have to take a closer look and see how intertwined or disentangled these two dimensions are but there are certain personality pathologies with moral defects as their hallmark that have turned out to be resistant to treatment. The best possible outcome one can hope for in some cases, if an outcome is possible at all, is that the behavior of the person can be modified via behavioral therapy even though the underlying internal structure of the person cannot be altered. I'm not saying I am a saint or have never committed mistakes, but I have had quite a strong moral conscience ever since my childhood. I had some earlier experiences where I lied/manipulated at somewhere around 6-8 years of age(bought cigarettes for my older sister) - I reflected on it and decided that it was not a good course of action and that I did not want to be like that. Then in my teens I pondered morality a bit more deeply due to situations in my environment and constructed an ethical framework for myself - though I did use people, some positive, as a reference point. I'm not a saint but I can only recall one situation about 8 years ago where I really cheated another person, and I still regret that even though it wasn't a "huge deal" and I was somewhat in need and under a lot of existential pressure at the time. (A lady routinely gave me too much money and I usually always pointed out her error and gave her back what was too much, one time when I was struggling to pay my bills despite working 3 jobs(minimum wage)/studying a lot and living very frugally. I kept either 10$ or 20$ knowing that she didn't realize she gave me too much money again. Lady was around 40 y.o. maybe.) Like I said, I'm not proud of that and I remember it well. I never got caught though. In any sort of game or competition I couldn't live with myself had I cheated. Even the story I told you really impacted my self respect and is a stain internally. Winning by deception/cheating isn't winning. It's a loss. "Crime and punishment" is an interesting book regarding this topic.

Therefor you dont really care about loosing no matter if the opponent cheated or not. if you want a reallife list of people that made a mistake in their teens or early adulthood you can just write one with every human beeing on it expect yourself of course.

I have always pretended to be a cheater lol, if someone is on another side of the wall and I hear them, I will look (a guess) at them and wiggle in case they are cheating so they think I am cheating and possibly leave me alone or they will talk in game and I can get a clip of them admitting to cheating. I always think "if an admin is watching me they will think I am cheating". But in over 4000 hours of RUST and DAYZ, I have never been confronted.

As someone who cheats in Tarkov: There’s usually one cheater in any raid at any given time, its much more prevalent then you think. The wiggle he was talking about is definitely true. You won’t even know when you’re killed by a cheater, usually if you know it’s someone who’s inexperienced. Cheats are injected before you open the launcher.

LMFAO I just heard about this on the Pogcast. 20 min into the episode, I INSTANTLY knew who Veritas was talking about. I've watched this guy's Twitch a couple months ago, and submitted quite a few reports to Twitch over one of his VODs. Kept an eye on his account the following week, and suddenly his VODs were taken down. Fast forward a month or so, and Twitch emailed me back saying they looked into my reports and took action; I'm guessing that's when that week-long suspension happened. Maybe this stuff spooked him enough, or at least hurt his rep somewhat, to where he'll stop cheating. Or maybe not, idk. Medium shrug lol

The problem with cheating is that BSG gives clients too much info and doesn't verify the info their server receives back. You can build a MITM device that captures the data on its way to you and then injects your hack into the game after being coupled with your inputs. People that don't hack don't understand how overpowered this is. It's not just walls. It's not just a live updating map. It's not just loot scanning. It's not just peaking at other player's inventory. It's not just giving the direction enemies are looking. You can look at kda. You can look at what gear players are rocking. With the giant directional arrow of where players are looking you can Scav wiggle across the map and other cheaters will wiggle back and it's an agreed upon "let's stay out of each others way." All of this is a toggle on / off switch at a granular level. You get access to pinpointing where loot is. And all of it is running on a separate machine meaning you can't even scan the user's PC for extra processes running.

@OfficialEsco
@OfficialEsco 2 жыл бұрын
The term Silent aim is even 2 decades old, i remember checking out cheats in 1.6 to get a better knowledge of how they work and their features, and even back then there were a insane amount of cheaters, i looooved being a server mod and catch them with ghosts (and they would still try to appeal), but its a endless fight, the best way to catch them is to have actual human reviewers, which most companies wont pay for.

Alright boys listen.. It was mid to end wipe and we were constantly 5 stacking. Going into raids juiced and we loved to run interchange. There was almost a week straight where we were getting fucking destroyed by a duo or just one other dude. All 5 of us. It was so suss and we were getting sick of it. I said fuck it I want to know, I bought 3 days of ESP hacks, no recoil, aimbot, just not radar (although is did have a real shit miniradar, only good thing was to tell you if a scav boss spawned pretty much.). I shit you not first raid me and a dude wiggled at each other cross map. I then met another cheater through a wall that invited me into a discord to get radar. Hacking was to expensive to and in complete honesty is makes you shit at the game. Your game sense is non existent because your just not using it, gun control goes to shit. The good radar is 1000 dollars for a lifetime deal. That ESP I was using is known to get caught by battle eye. But with the couple days I used it, blatantly hacking, I didn't get banned. I'm a piece of shit for doing it and supporting the people who make it, but I had to know what we were dealing with. Maybe it's gotten better over the past couple wipes maybe it's got worse. But I was usually guaranteed 1 other hacker in my raid at that time. So with me that's 2. That's 2 hackers almost every raid.

People don't realize the amount of cheaters. Friend used 2d radar in PUBG for 3 years straight. Only banned once with an experimental version the Russian developer wanted him to test. (He was basically the go-to for the American version to bugtest/partial translate so he got them free.) This ONE RUSSIAN CHEAT had 450+ ACTIVE PEOPLE CHEATING. That's before every other cheat from every other developer across the world. Running Top 10s TPP Season 2-4, there were 4 hack groups PER LOBBY. So depending on who all had them, it could be anywhere from 4+Us, to 18 people hacking in a lobby if every member of the enemy team had something. People want to act like it's not *literally* everywhere. It is. After I got affiliation banned a little over a year ago, I ended up purchasing some lower tier things and just running reroll accounts. Like recoil/remove smoke/walk through doors type things. This version had around 300 people using it actively. If you don't think it's the same in Tarkov, you're wrong.
