This is how I build titles, but didn't know about the comma. Luckily, I never used it. As to - sign, it is advised to use after 5 words because of how Amazon creates urls, so it's most likely to use those 5 words in it, which makes it SEO friendly outside Amazon as well. However, it's sometimes hard to follow that rule if we want to have low searched and yet highly relevant keywords on the beginning. So top keyword (basically a product name or type) + top relevant (distinctive) keywords (1-2), then the rest. If there is a space, we can format it to be reader friendly.

@michadybczak4862
@michadybczak4862 3 жыл бұрын
@@abdulmajid-vy4ms It's simple. If you create a new product (after, it's too late) first 5 words can show up in canonical url, so put "-" sign after them (of course with spaces around). For example: BRAND Item Blue Efficient Strong - Rest of your title. The sign increases the chance to get the first 5 words as canonical, but it's not obligatory, it can work without it as well. There are no guarantees it will work.

Sumner, I really like your approach! I had to cancel my subscription to Helium 10 because for me it became overboard in technical tools. I like the KISS approach that you are using in this tutorial. Yes, I will be doing a deep dive into your other videos. I have had to take some time off from my business this summer, but as I get my focus sharpened again, I look forward to as many of your videos that I can digest. The length of this video I find to be optimum. Thank you for your guiding light!

Thank you so much for all the information you shared!! So informative. Recently I registered with amazon to start expanding into different platforms so grateful to have come across your page. I was just curious about the main keyword phrase (within the formula, after the brand name). I wasn't sure whether I should title it as Aroma Of Life (brand name) + Resurrect | Motivation Blend (Name of product) or whether it would simply just be 100% Pure Essential Oil Blend (what it is instead of the name) for example. Thank you again for your help🙏🏼

@sumner Hobart - FBA I noticed that some pages display the brand name at the center top and then they title eg. “THE GYM PEOPLE” then on the second line it says “womens longline sports bra padded crop tank tops workout yoga bra. So these brands don’t even have their brand name in the title, it looks like Amazon has developed a separate top space for brand names. Is that because these are registered with brand registry and they get that special feature?

Do you recommend misspelling a word in the title if most people search for it that way? In my case..dinasour gift for boys is searched 5,000 times a month, but dinosaur gift for boys is searched less than 150 times a month. Or should I assume jungle scout is incorrect?

Hey Kelly! For the title - absolutely not. It will do more harm than potential good. Instead, place common misspellings in the subject matter/ search terms fields on your backend.

Hi, thank you for all the information! I have a question and I would really appreciate it if you can help me out. There are 2 names for my product. As per the search result, 1 of the name has a high volume of searches in plurals. We are planning to launch 2 variations so I was wondering if this would work if I do enter plural and singular word as well even though it is the same word. Since the first 5 words are URLs will it work like this A Bs(B is a plural word) C B D (Same B word but singular) Final for THE 5 WORDS URL IN THE TITLE A Bs C B D I would really appreciate it if you could reply me back.
@SumnerHobart
@SumnerHobart 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Fariha! What I like to do with variations is have about 80% keyword overlap and 20% variance to make sure I'm driving SEO "juice" for my important words/ terms but still also enough difference to also rank for other important terms relevant to each individual variation.

Hey Sumner... if my brand name is very descriptive and long (3 words, 19 characters), do you still recommend including it in the title? We currently have one successful product selling under this brand, and we have never included the brand name in the title. It hasn't affected us negatively. But we're launching 3 more products under this brand (in September, October, and November 2021), and we're wondering if we should start including the brand at the start of the title. Thought to do some A/B testing, but also curious to hear your opinion. Think of it as being something like "Alex Kitchen Solutions", just to give you an idea of why it's so long
@SumnerHobart
@SumnerHobart 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Danish! Personally, I do because I'm working to build my external Amazon presence and really get my brand name out there but it's ultimately up to you and yes, maybe running an AB test within Amazon would be a good approach. Also consider using an abbreviation such as AKS for "Alex Kitchen Solutions" or the first one or two words like "Alex Kitchen".
@danisht
@danisht 3 жыл бұрын
@@SumnerHobart "AKS" would probably be a good idea. I'm also working on building a strong brand prescence and I'm pushing social media and off-Amazon outlets. First word would also make sense. Will probably do something like "AKS". I'm also thinking of adding our logo at the bottom of each image, so it can protect our brand. Not sure if that's a good idea...

I have very niche product and I put my most relevant and most searched keywords in Main Keywords Phrase and 1 Top Searched Words. And I don’t know which keywords to put next, with high search volume, but not so relevant or to put relevant keywords, but with low search volume (500-800)?
@SumnerHobart

Hi Tom! My wife and I are in a similar situation with our products. Some are VERY niche and low competitive meaning the product results for our main, specific product-based keyword don't even fill half of the first page of results. What we do in this case is use our highest-searched, most relevant phrase first followed by higher-searched, maybe less product-specific but still relevant keywords. I hope this helps!
