Black dont crack because they have better protection from UV damage. White people age faster if they use sunscreen sparingly.

Ok, but we don't see the damage the chemicals in the sunscreen do to our bodies, because it's not on the surface and we haven't studied it. My rule of thumb is use sunscreen to avoid sunburns. Slowly tanning is fine. Using a bunch of sunscreen throughout your life is probably more damaging to your overall health. However you will always be told sunscreen is the best thing ever because there's a product attached to it and a lot of money to be made :)
