It doesn't sound the same to me at all... all that comments must be listening through phone speakers.... I hear more bass on the BC183, and more grit and even hi-mids on the BC109. Did you have the "clean" trimpot all the way up on both?

They're both fuzz faces so pretty similar by default but the bc109c one is higher gain and doesn't clean up as well as the bc183

Hi , I noticed numbers written down ,on each board . Would that be the gain(hfe) of each transistors

Possibly though I can't say for sure. Those numbers look right for the gains for those types of transistors

Hmm im not sure if there is a 330ohm resistor since everyone builds fuzz faces a little differently

Sorry but this is not correct. You have to dial the fuzz back to hear the real differences in tone between the 2...both of which I own. Like this is just a waste of time. They sound alike all the way up but turn them down and....big differences.
