It's possible to make Incubator at home and hatch eggs, but through heat blub you don't maintain temperature and don't know about actual temperature in box, Normally for Hatching eggs need temperature 37.5 to 38 if temperature increases from 40 then chicks will be dead in egg shell and if temperature down from 35 then also chicks dead in egg
For maintain temperature you need temperature control and temperature meter who update about temperature position
Same with humidity eggs also need a maintained humidity in Box if humidity decrease from 45-55 then chicks dead in shell and and after 18 days if humidity decrease from 55-65 then also chicks dead in shell so as per my opinion if you maintain humidity and temperature then chicks will hatch in box otherwise not possible only 10-20 percent hatch possibilities.
