This is so true! I'm Libra sun square Cancer moon and this aspect is so tiring! My Libra is telling me to be sociable and detached but my Cancer needs love and is very sensitive. I see this in everyday life, I seem very cold on the outside and people have NO IDEA how sensitive I am and think I have no emotions whatsoever. This can be t hard sometimes because I seem extremely cold and emotionless on the outside but I really am gooey on the inside and care deeply for people. My parents are still together to this day, but there definitely is tension at home because they have sort of a power struggle (sagxsag) They had different ways of seeing things a lot and were very stubborn about things and how it needed to go their way which often leads to disputes.

Aquarius sun square Scorpio moon. I always felt out of place with Aquarius, because my Scorpio moon is so freaking intense. People think i'm cold and aloof, but there's soo much going on inside and there is a difficulty expressing it. Pretty much hit the nail on the head. This actually explained a lot of my habits. I am Gemini square Virgo. I often need to get things done but I get distracted with surfing the web and learning stuff. Growing up I blamed people a lot for my short comings. I still haven't gotten over this... I'm only 20. At least I am learning this now. Also, my parents got divorced when I was 5 and hated each other ever since. I went back and forth between homes and this created a lot of tension in my early life.

I have Taurus sun square Leo moon. I am 32 now and still not fully overcome this aspect but I have learned a lot from it. I have struggled a lot in my life, and yes my parents are always in tension until this day but they have managed to hold on their marriage for 36 years and I can't see them to ever separate, they do love eacohther I guess lol. My mind and personality tell me one thing and my inner emotions tell me another and I am extremely sensitive and stubborn (Leo & Taurus are fixed) I also have my moon in the 1st house wow lol I have been in many failed relationships in the past where I attracted ppl with the same aspect or mentally unstable. but I am now more conscious of my actions and trying to compromise and learning the lesson. SO ACCURATE. Sun is Aquarius square Moon Taurus. The part about the parents is spot on, I grew up with constant fighting, and saw a lot of physical and emotional abuse btwn the 2. (they were 12 years apart, my dad is in alcoholic and my mom is just nuts). My psychic that i see every year since I was 18 said the only reason they were suppose to be together was to have my brother and I. My actions/feelings definitely do not match up and i come off as cold/distant to a lot of ppl and i am actually the complete opposite. I now suffer from deep anxiety/depression & trying to heal myself and have been on this path for a couple years now (i'm 23.) This cycle has to be broken, esp now since I have my own child. I have sun square moon. As a child, My adopted mother and I had no relationship. when she was present she was still absent. She would always want me to be around her, and to be close to her, and when i was she used that time to hurt me physically or emotionaly. I was unsure what would happen when her and I interacted. I tried to stay away from her as much as possible by staying in my room, but she would be mad at that. she wanted me around but didnt want me around. I"m 36 and its so exhausting.

It's the reverse. The asc trine moon makes you seem easy going, but then they get to know you and the square comes out. We cannot just say "I know i acted this way but its not actually me". Sun x moon doesn't understand that people are judged by their actions. Not their thoughts or who they wish they were.

I was dating somebody with this aspect in natal chart. I just couldn’t tolerate- he was all the time blaming others for his problems and that others are wrong, quilty, not him. He thinks that problem is in others not in him. Constant victim role. Even his family is make distance with him. I felt sorry about him and i was trying to help, but he made me feel very uncomfortable with his unstable nature. His words doesnt match his actions. He would make my life miserable . Very toxic relationship. I still feel sorry about him but he needs to sort himself out.

This video came out when I was 15. This aspect has been screwing me over my whole life lol. I have Moon squared a Sun conjunct Pluto. tight aspects I might add. I dont think it's a war between what you "need" vs "want". As a Platonist ill offer the Platonic account. It's a war of identity. Between a subject of what you might call "first-order desire" vs a subject of "second-order desire". An example of the phenomenon is this, you see your friends eating cake and you conceptualize that a cake is what you desire also (first-order). But before grabbing the cake there comes another desire (second-order) rejecting the first because you said you were giving up sweets for a month. So you want it and don't want the cake at the same time. How can this be? Well as Plato says in Republic we are a "divided self".The point Plato wants to make is that we are primarily the subject of the second-order desire "the man within the man". Its reason that is the second-order desire saying to refrain from eating that cake and that doing so will accomplish your good (what everyone seeks as Plato said).
