Bacteria doesn’t grow on honey. Because honey is extremely hypertonic which is similar (or more) like pickles and kills bacteria. So honey is bacteria free. They don’t spoil if properly stored.

That's true,they can come down either infantile botulism,caused by d botulinum toxin which is very fatal. Infants stomach produce acid which has an effect on d honey causing botulism. Dates is preferable

I just learned that calling the Azaan in the right ear of the child is actually not authentic. Regarding it, there is a weak hadeeth in ath-thirmidhi which is supported by an even weaker hadeeth in Shu'bal Emaan, which does not make it authentic. We do not follow hadeeth that are graded weak, so it is not an established authentic sunnah to do it. JazakumAllah khayr.

Abu Ibraheem Asad Bismillah. I can't argue at all over the hadeeth. If it's weak, then it is weak. However, a weak hadith does not make it a fabricated hadith. That is very different. As for this particular hadith, if one does not see any harm in doing so, and there is really no harm in it, only the beauty of the words of Shahadah being recited to a baby, I would not jump to discourage people from it. Allah knows best about the hadith. This is not a matter of Aqeedah though so it's OK to follow for those who so wish wa Allahu Aalam.

The Blessed Nabi Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam has performed this act upon Hasan Radiyallahu Anhu. Take the following Hadith into consideration: سنن أبي داود (5/ 518)دار اليسر رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «أَذَّنَ فِي أُذُنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ حِينَ وَلَدَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِالصَّلَاةِ Translation: Abu Rafi’ saw Nabi Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam perform Azan in the ear of Hasan Radiyallahu Anhu when Fatimah gave birth to him (Abu Dawud V.5 Pg.518 Darul Yusr)

Don't give your infant "fake" honey real honey is fine. We gave our daughter real honey just a trace very small and Alhamdulilah she is fine.

JusNa21 Though it is rare. So it may only be a small chance of hurting the baby. Infant botulism is caused by Clostridium botulinum spores, which are sometimes found in both pasteurized and unpasteurized honey. When an infant ingests honey, bacteria from these spores can grow and produce toxins that could lead to paralysis.
