is there a way to replace the front cover seal without stripping down the gearbox?

I don't understand why the sound is removed. Guess that John Roseby is explaining a lot.

Kristian, no videos on The Sunbeam Alpine Channel have sound. The instructions are written on screen. You can pause the video to read the instructions if you need to. In addition for complex tasks like engine or gearbox rebuilds there are full sequential instructions available that we are happy to e-mail you if you contact us.
