Those who have very keen eyes might notice that Hogwarts Legacy isn't nominated for a single thing. I forgot the game even existed, much less come out this year and only remembered it existed cause I was looking for stuff to delete to make room for Cyberpunk 2077 Also I think Lies of P should've been nominated for more.

I would highly recommend playing Fontaine in Genshin Impact if you ever get tired of Honkai Star Rail, because that's what should win best ongoing in my opinion. Genshin Impact was ok before, but the new region and story are so far above everything that preceded it, its insane

Nahh, wo long wasn't that good. Thought I'd like it, because I love nioh, but the combat (for me) felt too easy. A 6/10 game if I ever saw one. Though maybe I am being too harsh on it because I was expecting it to be my new nioh fix.

@@thegamewin100 I did, but my motivation for that game just got drained down the drain and after a certain boss battle, I just didn't feel like playing anymore. Usually with good and hard boss battles you wanna push through so that you can get that awesome dopamine rush once you defeat it, but with wo long I just didn't care no more.😅 It was fun for what it was, but once I get bored of a game, I can't force myself to continue playing. I think I just prefer a japanese setting more, as I am way more familiar with that setting.

I've played Chants of Sennaar. It's a point and click adventure game where you solve puzzles and try to decrypt several languages to reach the top of the tower the whole game is set in. The "impact" I think comes from the emphasis on getting the different peoples in the game to connect. It's honestly one of the best new games I've played this year.
