Loved your grocerystore story. A lot of years ago, I went to Walmart for a bunch of groceries, paid and got to my car and realized I had forgotten about the huge bag of dogfood down in the bottom rack of the cart. I was going to barely make it to go pick up my daughter from Daycamp, so there was no way I had time to go back in. So when I got home later, I cut the price code part off the bag. No way was I hauling that big bag back to the store! And the next AM, I went back to the store, took the price code paper in and explained what happened. I think they thought I was crazy, lol, but I felt good doing the right thing! Can't say I got any kind of reward for it other than feeling good. But a few months later, same store, as I got out of my car, I noticed a parked grocery cart with something up in the seat part. It turned out to be a snapped foldover thing a bit bigger than your average wallet. When I unsnapped it to see what it was, turned out to have a checkbook, and a bunch of credit cards, and the address was in there. So I took it inside thinking wow, so glad no one stole this! And I gave it to customer service, and pointed out there was a phone number, so could they call the person. They said they would. So I went on about my shopping and thought nothing more about it. Well a couple of weeks later, I got home and realized I didn't have my purse, with no check book in it but credit cards and of course some cash and my drivers license. I couldn't believe I'd done that so soon after finding the other person's things. I fugured it was gone for good, and was already trying to list in my mind all that was in there, and the hassle I knew I was going to have to turn off the cards and replace everything. But with no hope at all, I went in the house and called the store to explain. And OMG someone had already found it and turned it in to them!! In that case my good deed from a few weeks earlier had definitely been repaid! 😊 So I know what you mean! The fountains sound cool and peaceful. Hope your weather cools off soon. Ours finally did, from in the 90s on Saturday to high in the low 60s on Sunday! And supposed to be that cool for at least the next several days!

@charlotte50224 wow that is a great story, I'm so glad that someone was thoughtful enough to turn it in. I'd like to believe there are more good people in the world than bad. I'm jealous of your weather! I can't wait for it to get that cool here. Have a blessed week

Hi Roxanne. Happy Sunday. That was a nice story about the grocery store. They quoted us $30,000.00 last time for our windows. Ummm forget it. 1 window a year. As soon as it cools down here I’ll work in the yard. Ya high 90’s here all next week. Have a great week ahead

Hi Roxanne! Yep it’s first day of fall here in SC and the temps shot back up to 90 today. The grands came over to swim. lol. I like the water fountains for your back yard. So soothing to hear. I have a friend who lost her husband last year and she made a memorial garden to him in her back yard that had a water fountain in it. Very peaceful and soothing for her. Take care and have a great week.
