I gave up, no contact in 5 years, son is 15 now and lives with his half sister and boyfriend across town. I am 51 with a BS in HS, work with kids and adults. I still internalize your work but refuse to engage with any professionals in Billings that are not already friends or coworkers. I have endless contempt for the people working in or near the field I'm educated in. The degree(s) have little to do with with how much they know or how helpful they might be regarding this stuff.

I did my voluntary psych testing w/Bob Bakko before he retired. He agreed with me but showed no enthusiasm to help much. The forensic psych people don't want to be fact checkers for anyone. They are more interested in getting paid and concerned more about what they brought for lunch

My son's pediatrician Dr. Brian Starr was also informed and invested much free time into your videos and was very concerned. He wrote favorably to the judge but primarily excluded himself from any fact checking...like all the rest.

I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through-it’s heartbreaking. A trauma-informed support group for parents like us, facing grief and the unlawful deprivation of our kids’ rights, would mean so much. Being told to "accept" the situation doesn’t ease the pain or make it better. You’re not alone. It sounds like your son’s pediatrician did everything he could within the limits of his role.
