Well how else are we supposed to get new playable characters? This isn't like Genshin where we just instantly become friends with the people we meet. Everyone in Star Rail is either evil, has their own agenda or are just entirely mysterious in all. You can never really tell who's on your side... But at least the Astral Express crew always has the Trailblazer's back!

I loved this scene, because the entire time I was like "Come ON, Star Rail team, there's no way THE Herrscher of Reason, the absolute chad of brainpower, can't see through that at least slightly!" and then I realized when the scene played out that Welt was playing dumb due to how crowded the street was, and Sunday was considered a fugitive. Clever play. I love the devs for that one.

@@haninjamaxflare555 Which proved their point that welt does not know everything, prior to this cutscene we saw his pov of sunday in disguise, indicating that he didnt even know him at that time. Him suddenly appearing and locking him in place meant that he was silently listening to their conversation and figured out he was Sunday so he locked him in place. He also failed to notice his true purpose in 2.2 which is why he and march got caught by Sunday and dream master easily...I guess Sunday is too much for welt than Acheron, huh?While I kinda understand why people think of welt as that "old and wise" person(which is true), he's far from being "All knowing"

@@DarkUser5856 Funny how you mention that my reply proved their argument when i never stated that Welt is all knowing, and the comment that i replied to specifically mentioned him being "ignorant". I have never said that Welt is all knowing, but what you should focus on about is being "ignorant" and being "in the not knowing" because it is very different. Welt is not ignorant. He's encountering something he doesn't know and therefore he's being cautios, the person i replied to said that he's being ignorant, when he is, in fact, is not. Him not knowing if it was Sunday for the first time actually noticed something is amiss with what he's encountering, he therefore being the "cautious" grandpa he is, followed them until he knows the truth. Again, he's not being ignorant. And no, the person Welt with when Sunday hypnotized him is not March 7th but Robin. Hope you don't edit your comment to fix that one mistake. I like how full of yourself you are with "I guess Sunday is too much for Welt than Acheron, huh?", Yet you can't differentiate a character's name, nor read the discussion that is going on.

You should look at where the scene played out 😉 (if you don’t get it Sunday and Welt first met in a crowded area when Sunday left to a more quieter area Welt approached again. Welt already knew it was Sunday but didn’t mention it because 1) they were in a crowded arena and 2) Sunday is considered a fugitive)

If anyone wonder how he catched him so easily. The way he disguise it make not much different from another weapon of his World. His cane as some are already aware is a Divine Key. There was one in his world that can even disguise someone with illusions. To the H3rd ones, as you suspect yeah! The Fenghuang Down (Fu Hua) and not to say he is also used of it because of Senti (HoS) who have more powerful ability in the illusions.
