Greetings from Vancouver Canada. I'd love to see more soup and frugal food ideas. This soup looks so delicious. Really enjoy your videos and the tour of Cotswalds. I haven't been to England in 40 years so it's lovely to see parts of it again. Keep up your lovely videos please!

@leannejayne3545 at the moment.ent it's rain, rain, and more rain for about another 5 months, but it is lovely here. 20 min to the ocean and about were surrounded by mountains and skiing.

Another lovely video. Yes I’ve been to Bourton on the Water several time, such a lovely place. Soup looked yummy and I like your idea of the chopped leeks for the dressing.

Tip for peeling onions...put a teaspoon in your mouth. I don't know why but it works well
@lochamb1234Ай бұрын
To intensify the flavour of the soup add a few stalks of celery when sweating off the leeks. If you like the soup as is, when you make it with celery also, you will absolutely love it and you'll never go back to the basic soup xx

@@lochamb1234 oh I’ll definitely try that next time, thanks for the tip! X

I’ve got face shields from when we had Covid that I wore to protect my customers. I had an idea to use them when cutting onions and they really work! 😊

Soup looks delicious one of our favs. Its been a long time since I've been to Bourton on the water such a beautiful place. Leanne you used the word Diddy to subscribe the onions, that's such a word we would use here in Wales. Any Welsh connections? Oh and yes my slippers came out this week too.

It was so delicious! No Welsh connections, I say diddy quite a lot ☺️ it’s quite a cute word I think .. thanks so much for watching & happy Sunday x

Thoroughly enjoyed the cosy Sunday video - more please! Thank you for sharing the delicious looking soup recipe. I make a huge vat of soup every 2 weeks. I tend to favour spicy lentil/tomato (I'm using the recipe from the Shepherd's Wife book by Helen Rebanks at the moment) but always on the look out for new recipes. I live in Yorkshire so haven't made it to the Cotswolds yet but would love to visit. Really interesting to see Bourton-on-the Water in your vlog. I've used frozen chopped onions for years to avoid the stinging/crying eyes. I find my hand blender invaluable. I broke mine recently trying to chop dates (it was 20 yrs old) so bought a replacement in b & m with the same attachments as yours (Tower brand) for £25. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. x

I’m so pleased you enjoyed it, I loved filming this one❤ You have definitely inspired me to cook big batches of soup, I’m going to make butternut squash soup next. Such a good shout on the frozen onions, thank you! Happy Sunday x
