Cold Chisel is an Australian institution and the soundtrack to any Aussies life. This band has played in the background for forty years of my life and I am thankful. Their newest material is just as good (or even better than the earlier) Its matured and more relevant than ever. I hope to be hearing them for a lot longer still. Respect.

Only managed to see them twice, I AM privileged to have seen, in my opinion, the GREATEST LIVE BAND.

Mossy seems lost for words, who could blame him, whenever I hear what Barnesy did when Steve was about to go in for surgury makes me cry, they loved each other but at the same time had fights, brothers in arms, R.I.P Steve we will never forget you mate

Only time I saw Cold Chisel was on a visit back to Adelaide (lived there 1994 to 1997, moved back to Perth) in late 1998. I don't remember much (I got drunk that night, slept it off at a mates house in Glenelg). I do remember Jimmy was on fire that night. One other thing I remember is my then girlfriend (now wife of 24 years) telling me I phoned her to come pick me up after the concert, trouble was she was back in Perth (shows how drunk I was) 😂 would love to see them again.

Saw the lads in '98 with "The Last Wave Of Summer Tour" and are going to see them tomorrow night at Rod Laver! Anyone who hasn't had the blessing of seeing them as Cold Chisel are in for a treat! Barnesy is Barnesy for a reason, he is god to alot of us Australians, but when these fellas get together it's an entirely different show to a Barnesy show! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Great segment on cold chisel - pity red bandana detracted from it.

+James Lochridge Yup, like Bon Scott. I always think they where Oz's answer to Bob Segar and The Silver Bullet Band. However Don's lyrics have more depth and more in common with Dylan etc. I'm a scouser and Prestwitch was from Everton way.

You can't even spell you so why say stupid things? In their heyday they were one of the best rock bands in the world.
