On Sundays I do absolutely NOTHING!!It's the only day I don't work ,to rest. I usually go to church early in the morning. I don't cook ,my husband do some BBQ food and at thew afternoon go for a walk ,for a coffee or something to eat. In Greece is still summer so we enjoy our last days of summer before winter!! I don’t do anything or get ready for the week on Sunday. I go to church and it’s my day of rest and spend it with my family. I do a really good Sunday dinner but try to not do anything else. If I’m prepping for the week, then I do it on Saturday!

Here in France Halloween is not a thing. You’ll see some stores carrying some specific items but overall people haven’t taken to this mainly American celebration. I decorate some for fall, and I love watching you decorate your home. You’ve given me many ideas. You’re quite an inspiration and I don’t know how you do it all. @@francepellard9612 Seasonal decorations are not a thing in France, you’re right. Except for Christmas. French homes are furnished with less neutral colours than what I see on YT in US homes. So we don’t need to bring the colours in. We have more natural wood and coloured carpets in our homes and we like to display heritage pieces, instead of seasonal decor. We do have much less choice in seasonal decor, although when you search carefully, there are some things to be found. I bought a string of autumn coloured maple leaves at Foir’fouille (fleurs artificielles section) the other day. And there is also Amazon. 😊 I like to watch Lauren (and other YT channels) decorate her home. So vibrant and inventive!

Halloween is actually an Irish celebration not American that originated in the 5th century by the Celts living in Ireland. They were pagans and dressed up in costumes to ward off evil spirits on Hallows Eve. When the Irish famine happened the emigrants from here brought their traditions to the US.

We were very Blessed and God Protected us from Hurricane Ian. We got no rain just some winds and did not lose Electricity. I am very Thankful, I use a CPAP Machine and Oxygen and a Nebulizer Machine and sleep in a lift chair. I can not go to a Shelter. I am praying for all the People where the Hurricane went and caused mass destruction.

Hi! We are getting fall on the East Coast. We had cold, rainy weather for over a week due to the hurricane. October came in cold and miserable. It is normally warm, clear and beautiful. Today was beautiful, sunny and warm..finally. The trees are turning golden and I am getting ready for Halloween!!!! I rest and reset watching Netflix, sewing or reading, etc. on Sunday. We made it through Hurricane Ian in the Orlando area, with just a soaked back yard and outside cleanup which hubby got most done last Sunday. Our county and surrounding ones are still flooded and many have lost their homes. So much of our state is damaged and too many lives lost. It's heartbreaking. 😢

Guuurl... I just don't know where you get the energy from!!! Of course you're probably abt 15 to 18 years younger than I am, but still!!! You are an inspiration though! I have taken to doing some deep cleaning of my kitchen bc of you, and you are so right abt how good it feels to have it looking so sparkly and shiny once again! Cleaning the door panels on my lower cabinets and also getting the dishwasher shined up and the oven looking nice once again... but, getting to the upper cabinets though... thats a much harder detail to get too, as I'm so short and need my step ladder to do so! Lol! With my knees I can only do just a couple sets of them at a time. I just wanted to thank you for being such a great inspiration for me! Since my husband is unable to do most things anymore in helping me out, I get the privilege of doing everything but the cooking, along with my 40 hour work weeks, I'm exhausted after work, but I can keep going for a couple more hours afterwards. For me, its a little bit at a time. But it all helps!

I used to used the stainless steel cleaner as well now I switched to WDA- 40 it’s amazing ! I was super skeptical, but when we had our outdoor kitchen put in they installed the appliances and used that to clean it and it looked amazing so I have been using it since!

My fall decor (wreath, cute scarecrows) fits right in with my Halloween decorations. There’s a house one block away that the folks there go absolutely nuts. 12 foot skeleton, 10 foot dragon, dozens of decorations. Even a mermaid skeleton-where the heck did they find that? A few more neighbors compete for pride of place. It’s a lot of fun. And I love seeing the children in their costumes. And I enjoy eating the leftover candy.

As a retired housekeeper the best thing for stainless steel and healthier as well is Pledge's Orange Oil in the pump spray bottle. It also repeals finger prints. It smells better as well.

We have been having the most spectacular fall here in Michigan! Beautiful blue skies and highs in the '60s, today 77°!, and night lows into the 40s and 50s - perfect for a bonfire with hot cider. The trees are painting the landscape in their glorious fall colors - we've been to the Cider Mill twice already. Nothing like a Michigan autumn! And yes Halloween is MAJOR around here! My small town really goes overboard with Halloween and Christmas outdoor decor. The city even has a contest for the best decorations. I have had up to 38, 66 quart storage bins for my fall/Halloween decorations - I've scaled it back to 21 bins now. And that doesn't include all of the inflatables! Our downtown has haunted storytelling hayrides thru the old Victorian neighborhoods and there is a Halloween parade where even the high school marching band members dress up in their costumes. My daughter's birthday is on October 28th and every year she's had a big Halloween costume party, sometimes at a Cider Mill and sometimes at home. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new home for Halloween, can't wait for your upcoming videos!

I don’t decorate for Halloween but I have had my house decorated for fall since the beginning of September. The first weekend in November I will decorate for Christmas. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year…super excited!!

Weather here in Southern NH Is beautiful . The leaves have started changing...I'd say we are 1/3 or 1/4 of the way to peak 😃 Nights are around the 40s...days have been between 55-75. My favorite time of year! 🍂
