Just discovered your channel. I am in my 70’s and retired and would have loved these ideas when I was working full time. Mind you your ideas are relevant to me today as I am caring for my husband who has dementia at home. Thank you and you have my admiration for your energy and ideas.

Instagram suggested one of your posts for me, and I sat there in awe. I was in complete disbelief that you could do all that in "a couple of hours." You told a commenter you had uploaded a video on KZbin, so here I am. Still in utter amazement at your skills and at that fantastic range of yours. 🙂 Thank you for sharing.

I began doing meal prep this weekend, and as I have to split it over 3 days due to health reasons, I just want to say how much of an absolute life changer it is, no more 2 minute noodles at 1am and no more hanging around the fridge waiting for food to magically appear! Thanks again!

Just a quick tip on the pizza roll ups, we also love making these as well. After i add the ingredients and roll them up i put them in the freezer for about 20 or so minutes, this makes it easier to cut. its less messy the sauce doesn't drip out and it can be cut a little thinner (a little mind trick because then we have "more")

Best wishes for you and your channel’s success. Great to see Australian content. It’s admirable to see the work you put in to make a better life for your family. My days as a working Mum are behind me as my daughter is now an adult but the grocery/meal strategies can be used by anyone. Especially using everything up and buying what you planned to need - saves money and uses the earth’s resources wisely. 🙂🌸

I started binge watching your videos a few months ago. And since then, I have followed your ‘ Sunday reset ‘ preparing lunches / snacks for the week & what a difference it has made for me through the week to get my husband & kids ready for work & school for the week! I used to do this every afternoon & doing it on a Sunday for 3/4 hours is so much more practical! Thank you for the video! Can’t wait to watch! 🤍

I load up my online shopping order on Sunday and then process it on Wednesday for Friday pick up. Friday night roast night or something easy and then can cook over both the weekend days doing bits and pieces. We don’t get mark down sales where I live so no point trawling around inside the store. I’m thinking I might join the Woolworths club to save 10%. Thanks for all the inspo !

We normally pack their lunches the night before because my husband leaves at 4:30am and I am generally out of the house with the kids between 7-7:30 so easier for us. I post some of their lunches on my insta stories and on highlights. But need to post more as I get asked often for some more inspiration 💕 We also live about 25mins away from their school so I actually overpack their lunches or an extra snack box that they eat on the way home because as you said my kids too are bottomless pits 😂 They have fruit after school, a sandwich if they are really hungry. But we generally eat dinner around 5:30/6 latest as they are starving haha Hope that helps 💕

Absolutely love your content, Monique! So encouraging to see another average Aussie mum! An unrelated question about the age gaps of your kids! Hubby and I are considering a potential 18-20 month gap between kids 2&3. Mostly to be able to finish off the pregnancy years and then get our health insurance gone! The age gap between our 1&2 is 2years and 4 months. Did you find the smaller gap between the last two to be overwhelming for a time, and then easier at they got older? Would you recommend?
@Theorganisedeverydaymum5 ай бұрын
Thank you! 💕 I have 22 months between my first and second and 16 months between my second and third. It’s crazy busy but wouldn’t have it any other way. They have such a special bond. It’s all I know too so we make it work. I liked that we were still in the phase when the next came so that there wasn’t a lot of adjustment to go back to new born life after many years off. We loveee our crazy little household 😂

I’ve just come across your videos and new subscriber. Going to have to try and be more organised but don’t have a big fridge like yours. I have used nutrimetics OLC to wash fruit, it was designed for this. I’ve been out for awhile need to order some. We thought my daughter was allergic to strawberries even took a strawberry to the children’s hospital when she was tested. Nope this didn’t come up. She ate one we grew no worries. Organic shop said strawberries are the most sprayed fruit. Washing them in the OLC no reaction. So always wash your strawberries and other veggies but not for too long. Grapes too have lots of sulphites on them. Scary what we eat if we don’t wash them. Will try and be organised ❤
