Probably the best Gordon Ramsey video I've watched. Not only did I learn a lot about cooking duck, and a banana tarte tatin, both of which I will have to try to make, watching him prepare and cook food with his daughter was just about the most heart warming thing I've seen on youtube for some time. More of this please!

That chicken dinner is legit probably a $150 dinner minimum with all of the insanely high quality ingredients he used. Don’t feel inadequate, it’s more compelling to use all of your fancy ingredients on Sun dinner when you’re a millionaire and can have your assistant replace them without a sweat. I love watching Gordon because he’s a good guy with a ton of passion for food but most of his recipes are special occasion material for the middle class and below.

just imagine gordon just quizzing his kids on the herbs, forcing them to know which is which and when they get it wrong, he calls them a donut.

Gordon - thanks. I actually think you are contribution to my positive mental health. I left the army and joined the merchant navy, throughout struggling with probably PTSD. I work on a small vessel, there for we cook for each other. Your videos and articles I've read about you continue to inspire me and as much as you might dislike copying (I remember you saying that in 1999) I follow your dishes and cook for my crew mates. Thanks again, Gordon. Good health and Godspeed to you and your family.
