He had a kinda low key love affair with the Steyr GB if you watch his videos on it. Not saying it was his favourite but something about it clearly tickled his fancy, maybe appealed to his inner gun geek lol cos it's a quirky pistol. It was in his top 5 carry guns, which surprised me... I also recall him saying he shot the Beretta best cos he'd spent so much time with it, guess when push comes to shove the handgun you're most familiar with is what you'd choose? Dunno, he had a real dry humour, left a lot of things unsaid. He's much missed, a real one-off.

I make this point about singers, especially in the area of country music. There are some great artists today, of course, but boy do they tend to look and sound the same. Gone are the days of the incredible variety of voices and characters: Johnny Cash, Wayland Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Buck Owens, Alan Jackson, Johnny Paycheck, George Jones, etc. And by the way, where's the Led Zepplin, James Gang, and Bob Dylan of today! :-)

I built a Ruger 10/22 for bench shooting, and didn't think I'd ever do anything else with that rifle. That was a mistake, as my .22 weighs as much as an M249 and a 1000-rnd belt. It's a tack-driver, and at 50 yards I can leave a single 1/4" hole from a BX-25, but a .920 fluted bull barrel, a heavy synthetic stock, a bipod, and an 8-32x50 with sunshade make this thing absolutely a chore to carry in any way other than with a shoulder strap. I hope nobody ever thinks to carry this into combat (lol). 3 more and it would make a great anti-aircraft installation.
