I feel for you Hickoj45, losing Slamfire. I’ve had 9 dogs and many cats and have one dog/cat, meaning a cat more lije a dog, lije Slamfire. It’s hard when they go but well worth the grief for all the love they give you. There is no just a cat or dog because they are Family. Sorry to hear about Slamfire, they become part of our families. In March of 22 we lost our 13 year old cat Zoey to paralysis one morning. Our son lost his cat, our daughter lost their two cats, and my wife’s sister lost their cat all to illness of some sort. Gotta believe it was something in the food or water that took them all. Glad we are going back to a powerful and free country for four years. In Mi we will still have our challenges, not so much with the governor but with some of her elected people trying to take away our rights.

This is probably one of the only few videos from Hickok45 that doesn't end on a high note of calm joy. Slamfire has been his family companion and a valued pet member for over a decade, and after today he will be blessed in cat heaven. I give this old man credit for still attempting to push through the shortened Sunday Shoot-A-Round video despite the ugly news. However, that is a natural part of Life. May time heal an empty void in the hearts of this family for cherished memories. 🙏🏻😇💙

Always sucks to lose a loved one...even four legged ones. I can see the hurt on your face. Sorry for the loss. I do love cats. Had a female for 17 years that was a hard loss as well (imagine a grown man, truck driver, walking out of a truck stop crying his eyes out during the pay phone days). Had a Cocker Spaniel for 17 years as well...just as hard a loss. Wife took the dogs loss so hard we have vowed to never put ourselves through that again---but I'm a softy, and we DO currently have 3 rescued cats in the house, and we love them (can't do another dog). On a much lighter note; LOVE the .45 Colt and the video...thanks for sharing, and life IS indeed good.
